Description (HU): Az osztrák-magyar határrégió kistelepüléses vidékein párhuzamosan jelentkezik az elöregedő lakosság és vidékről városokba költözők problematikája. A fiatalabb generációk aktív munkavállalása nem teszi lehetővé az otthonlétet, az idősek gondozását korábban ellátó, hagyományos nagycsaládos modell visszaszorulóban van. Eközben az emelkedő várható élettartam miatt egyre szélesebb kört érintenek az idősgondozással kapcsolatos mindennapi kihívások. Annak érdekében, hogy a régió időseinek életminősége ne csökkenjen drasztikusan, a szociális ellátórendszer átgondolására, átfogó új kezdeményezésekre van szükség.
Projektünk célja, hogy a fenti kihívásokra egy, az igényeket központba állító, kölcsönösségen alapuló, fenntartható és egyben integráló megoldást nyújtsunk, amely javuló életminőséget biztosít a határrégió időseinek és hozzátartozóiknak egyaránt. Ez a megoldás az önkéntes szerepvállaláson alapuló gondoskodó közösségek kialakítása és határon átnyúló hálózatba szervezése.
E cél elérése érdekében a helyi igények és adottságok figyelembevételével és a releváns aktőrök bevonásával kialakítjuk a gondoskodó közösségek létrehozását célzó stratégiát és módszertant. Ezt követően a gondoskodó közösségek koordinációját ellátó bizalmi munkatársak (BM) képzésével erősítjük a szociális és egészségügyi területen aktív helyi/regionális intézmények és a különböző helyi képviseletek/civilek kapacitásait, valamint egy bilaterális modell kidolgozásával megteremtjük a határon átnyúló önkéntes munkavégzés szervezeti keretfeltételeit.
A hálózatosodáshoz elengedhetetlen lakossági részvétel erősítése, különösen a határvidék időseinek mobilizálása közösségi média megoldások, szakmai és kommunikációs tevékenységek támogatásával történik. A megszólított aktőrök és az önkéntes hálózat határon átnyúló együttműködésének kialakításával végeredményben létrehozzuk a gondoskodó közösségek önfenntartó, aktív és innovatív közös hálózatát.
Read more Description (DE): Im ländlichen Raum der österreichisch-ungarischen Grenzregion treten die Probleme der alternden Bevölkerung und die Abwanderung der Jüngeren parallel auf. Das traditionelle Modell der Großfamilie, in der sich die Jüngeren um die Älteren gekümmert haben, droht zu verschwinden. Pflegenden Familienmitgliedern ist es unter anderem aufgrund ihrer Berufstätigkeit nicht möglich zu Hause zu bleiben. Aufgrund der steigenden Lebenserwartung sind immer mehr Menschen von den Herausforderungen der Altenpflege betroffen. Um sicherzustellen, dass die Lebensqualität nicht drastisch abnimmt, müssen das soziale Pflegesystem überdacht und umfassende neue Initiativen ergriffen werden. Ziele des Projektes sind diese Herausforderungen durch nachhaltige, integrative Lösungen zu bewältigen, eine Verbesserung der Lebensqualität und Steigerung des Wohlbefindens von Älteren und ihren Angehörigen in der Grenzregion zu erzielen. Unser Lösungsansatz ist eine grenzüberschreitende Vernetzung von fürsorgenden Gemeinschaften auf freiwilliger Basis. Um diese Ziele zu erreichen, entwickeln wir eine Strategie und Methodik zur Schaffung von fürsorgenden Gemeinschaften unter Berücksichtigung der lokalen Bedürfnisse durch Einbeziehung relevanter Akteure. Wir stärken die Kapazitäten von lokalen/regionalen Institutionen und fachspezifischen Organisationen (Sozial- u. Gesundheitsfürsorge) durch die Ausbildung von Vertrauenspersonen (VP). Diese koordinieren die fürsorgenden Gemeinschaften. Durch die Entwicklung eines bilateralen Modells werden die organisatorischen Rahmenbedingungen für die grenzüberschreitende Freiwilligenarbeit geschaffen.
Wir mobilisieren die Bevölkerung in der Grenzregion, besonders die Älteren, durch Social-Media-Lösungen sowie Fach- und Kommunikationsaktivitäten. Durch die grenzüberschreitende Zusammenarbeit der eingebundenen Akteure wird schließlich ein sich selbst tragendes, aktives, innovatives und gemeinsames Netzwerk der fürsorgenden Gemeinschaften etabliert.
Read more Description (EN): In the rural areas of the Austro-Hungarian border region, the problems of the aging population and the emigration of the younger ones occur in parallel. The traditional model of the extended family, in which the younger ones took care of the elderly, threatens to disappear. Among other things, due to their professional activity it is not possible for nursing family members to stay at home. Due to increasing life expectancy, more and more people are being affected by the challenges of elderly care. To ensure that quality of life does not decrease dramatically, the social care system needs to be reconsidered and comprehensive new initiatives taken. The objectives of the project are to meet these challenges through sustainable, inclusive solutions, to improve the quality of life and to improve the well-being of the elderly and their relatives in the border region. Our approach is a cross-border networking of caring communities on a voluntary basis.
To achieve these goals, we are developing a strategy and methodology for creating caring communities, taking into account local needs through the involvement of relevant stakeholders. The capacity of local and regional institutions and specialized organizations (social and health care) will be strengthened through the training of trusted persons who coordinate the caring communities. Through development of a bilateral model we create the organisational framework for cross-border volunteering.
In addition, we are mobilizing the population of the border region, especially the elderly, through social media solutions as well as subject-specific and communication activities. The cross-border cooperation of the involved actors will finally establish the self-sustaining, active, innovative and common network of caring communities.
Information added on 2020-05-15, regarding the mitigation of the effects of COVID-19 (the coronavirus pandemic that started in 2019) (English language only): Chance B, one of Co-AGE project partners designed a concept to support people over 65 who have an increased risk of severe COVID-19 infections and who may be even more lonely and/or socially isolated due to social distancing. They match volunteers and coordinate supportive activities.
