Description (EN):

The demand for nature tourism in the form of hiking, cycling and paddling is increasing. The area of Värmland, Dalsland, Akershus, Hedmark and Östfold has good conditions in terms of both nature and trail infrastructure but lacks highly refined products. This will change through thematic product development together with tour operators who will eventually become the sales channel for the products being developed. Through increased knowledge, more tools and networks between event organisers, the project aims to increase opportunities to take effective advantage of and facilitate the implementation of events. A result will be better decision-making for both municipalities and organisers. This will create long-term business and profitability for the tourism industry in the project area.

Efterfrågan på naturturism i form av vandring, cykel och paddling ökar. Området Värmland, Dalsland, Akershus, Hedmark och Östfold har goda förutsättningar både i form av natur och ledinfrastruktur men saknar i hög grad förädlade produkter. Detta vill projektet förändra genom temainriktad produktutveckling tillsammans med researrangörer som i förlängningen blir försäljningskanal för de produkter som tas fram. Genom ökad kunskap, fler verktyg och nätverk mellan evenemangsarrangörer vill projektet öka möjligheterna att dra effektiv nytta av och underlätta för genomförandet av evenemang. Ett resultat ska bli bättre beslutsunderlag för såväl kommuner som arrangörer. Detta ska skapa långsiktiga affärer och lönsamhet för besöksnäringens aktörer i projektområdet.
