Recent project aims to enforce joint agricultural and local product producing building on its existing predecessor project by providing a common franchise brand with a well-developed quality assurance system for products in the cross-border region (C BR) by the co-operation of the Hungarian and Serbian partners in the programme. Our project will help local food producers in quality food production and in carrying their products to the local and regional markets efficiently and profitably by provi ding an image and promoting the brand to be developed. The project consists of 3 elements: 1. FRANCHISE BRAND BUILDING: Following an analysis of current trends in the agrarian sector of the CBR, building on a previously accomplished pilot project in the region, brand for organic local food products will be developed with a CB common marketing strategy including a brand image based on the involvement of local dwellers. For the franchise brand, a webshop will be developed. 1) QUALITY ASSURANCE S YSTEM (QAS): A main pillar of our brand would be a quality assurance system provided mostly by the HU partner in the project. This includes a development of an already existing laboratory capable for the analysis of chemical and biological environmen t of food production. QAS will provide information for customers regarding products and assure that the brand only includes organic and healthy food products. 2) INVOLVEMENT: A crucial point of the project is the involvement of actual and potential farmers and consumers in the CBR. With the organisation of local forums and food exhibition, the aim is to promote joining the brand within local population and proactively provide guidance for them. Based on the developed marketing strategy, a PR-ca mpaign will be set in motion for reaching potential consumers. This includes the production of promotion materials (posters, brochures), a PR film and TV spots, as well as an online campaign and the organisation of conferences.
