Description (EN):

The challenge is to establish long-term cross-border strategic planning to develop and protect green infrastructure, monitor water and habitat biodiversity, implement pilot activities and investments for the creation of green infrastructure in NATURA 2000 and raise awareness of the target on the sustainability of water resources, protected areas and forest and agricultural land. The objective is to develop an area of cross-border cooperation with a clear long-term, comprehensive and sustainable strategy in the area of green infrastructure, awareness raising and measures for sustainable cross-border development. This will be achieved through pilot activities and the identification of good practices that will raise awareness among local communities, farmers and visitors to protected areas of the importance and efficiency of ecosystem services. This will ensure improved results in the management of protected areas, the creation of green infrastructure and the use of ecosystem services, and contribute to environmental protection and sustainable development. Through cooperation, solutions can be found for planning and creating green infrastructure in the Isonzo area.

La sfida è stabilire una pianificazione strategica transfrontaliera a lungo termine per sviluppare e tutelare le infrastrutture verdi, monitorare le acque e la biodiversità degli habitat, implementare attività pilota e investimenti per la creazione di infrastrutture verdi in NATURA 2000 e sensibilizzare il target sulla sostenibilità delle risorse idriche, delle aree protette e dei terreni forestali e agricoli. L'obiettivo è sviluppare un'area di cooperazione transfrontaliera con una chiara strategia a lungo termine, completa e sostenibile nell'area delle infrastrutture verdi, della sensibilizzazione e delle misure per uno sviluppo transfrontaliero sostenibile. L'obiettivo sarà raggiunto con attività pilota e l'identificazione di buone prassi che aumenteranno la consapevolezza delle comunità locali, degli operatori agricoli e dei visitatori nelle aree protette sull'importanza e sull'efficienza dei servizi ecosistemici. Ciò garantirà un miglioramento dei risultati nella gestione delle aree protette, la creazione di infrastrutture verdi e l'uso di servizi ecosistemici, contribuirà alla protezione dell'ambiente e allo sviluppo sostenibile. Con la cooperazione si potranno trovare soluzioni per pianificare e creare infrastrutture verdi nell’area dell’Isonzo.

Skupni izziv je vzpostaviti dolgoročno čezmejno strateško načrtovanje razvoja in varstva zelene infrastrukture, dolgoročno spremljanje stanja voda in biotske raznovrstnosti habitatov, izvesti pilotne aktivnosti in naložbe vzpostavitve zelenih infrastruktur na območju NATURA 2000 ter povečevanje ozaveščenosti ciljnih skupin o pomenu trajnostnega upravljanja z vodami, zavarovanih območij ter gozdnih in kmetijskih površin. Splošni cilj projekta je razviti področje čezmejnega sodelovanja z jasno, celovito in trajnostno dolgorčono strategijo na področju upravljanja zelene infrastrukture, okrepiti ozaveščenost in ukrepe za trajnostni čezmejni razvoj. Cilj programa bo dosežen z izvajanjem pilotnih dejavnosti in opredelitvijo dobrih praks, ki bodo povečale ozaveščenost lokalnih skupnosti, kmetijskih upravljavcev in obiskovalcev na zavarovanih območij o pomenu in učinkovitosti ekosistemskih storitev. Projekt na čezmejni ravni zagotavlja optimalno izboljšanje dosežkov pri upravljanju zavarovanih območij, vzpostavitvi zelene infrastrukture in uporabi ekosistemskih storitev, prispeva k varstvu okolja in trajnostnEmu razvoju. Nujnost čezmejnega sodelovanja je predvsem v iskanju rešitev načrtovanja in vzpostavitve zelene infrastrukture na mednarodnem povodju Soče.

Achievements (EN):

The main result of the GREVISLIN project was the long-term pilot implementation of strategic planning and development as well as protection of green infrastructure and ecosystem services and the introduction of cross-border monitoring of water status, which affected the improvement of species and habitats in Natura 2000 areas. There was also be a strong focus on awareness-raising and training target groups. The cross-border area, which in addition to a high nature conservation content value - the conservation of species and habitats in Natura 2000 areas - also has great potential for the development of sustainable tourism. The main result of the GREVISLIN project was the cooperation between protected areas in the cross-border area in order to increase environmental protection and, at the same time, enhance the long-term impact on tourism development, create new green jobs and boost economic growth in the area. The main result was consistent with the programming results of the specific objective "Improving ecosystem management and restoring biodiversity through green infrastructure and ecosystem services", as it contributed to the latter through the preparation of the long-term cross-border development plan for green infrastructure, the monitoring of water status, which had an impact on the improvement of habitats and species, pilot actions for the promotion of green infrastructure and the creation of new ecosystem services.

The main objective of GREVISLIN is to develop a cohesive, integrated and sustainable cross-border area with a clear long-term strategy in the management of green infrastructure, to strengthen awareness and measures for sustainable cross-border development. The objective implements a specific point of the programme to strengthen integrated ecosystem management for sustainable development (green infrastructure planning, water monitoring and pilot actions).

Obiettivo principale di GREVISLIN è sviluppare un'area transfrontaliera coesa, integrata e sostenibile con una chiara strategia a lungo termine nella gestione delle infrastrutture verdi, rafforzare la sensibilità e le misure per uno sviluppo transfrontaliero sostenibile. L'obiettivo realizza un punto specifico del programma per rafforzare la gestione integrata degli ecosistemi per uno sviluppo sostenibile (pianificazione delle infrastrutture verdi, monitoraggio delle acque e azioni pilota).

Glavni splošni cilj projekta GREVISLIN je razvijati trajnostno celostno kohezivno čezmejno območje z jasno dolgoročno strategijo na področju upravljanja zelene infrastrukture, krepiti ozaveščenost in ukrepe za trajnostni čezmejni razvoj. Cilj uresničuje programski specifični cilj z vidika krepitve celostnega upravljanja ekosistemov za trajnostni razvoj (dolgoročno načrtovanje zelene infrastrukture, spremljanje voda in pilotni ukrepi).

Il risultato principale del progetto GREVISLIN è l'implementazione pilota a lungo termine della pianificazione strategica e dello sviluppo nonché della tutela delle infrastrutture e dei servizi ecosistemici verdi nonché l’introduzione del monitoraggio transfrontaliero dello stato delle acque, che interesserà il miglioramento delle specie e degli habitat nelle aree di Natura 2000. Grande attenzione sarà inoltre rivolta alla sensibilizzazione e alla formazione dei gruppi target. L’area transfrontaliera, che oltre ad un alto valore di contenuti sulla tutela della natura - la conservazione delle specie e degli habitat nelle aree di Natura 2000 – ha anche un grande potenziale per lo sviluppo di un turismo sostenibile. Il risultato principale del progetto GREVISLIN è frutto della cooperazione tra le aree protette nella zona transfrontaliera al fine di aumentare la tutela dell'ambiente e, allo stesso tempo, potenziare l’impatto a lungo termine sullo sviluppo del turismo, creare nuovi posti di lavoro verdi agevolando così la crescita economica dell'area. Il risultato principale è coerente con i risultati di programmazione dell'obiettivo specifico “Migliorare la gestione degli ecosistemi e ripristinare la biodiversità attraverso infrastrutture verdi e servizi ecosistemici”, in quanto contribuirà a quest'ultimo con la preparazione del piano di sviluppo transfrontaliero a lungo termine per le infrastrutture verdi, con il monitoraggio dello stato delle acque, che avrà un impatto sul miglioramento degli habitat e delle specie, con azioni pilota per la promozione delle infrastrutture verdi e con la creazione di nuovi servizi ecosistemici.

Glavni rezultat projekta GREVISLIN je pilotna implementacija dolgoročnega strateškega načrtovanja razvoja in varstva zelene infrastrukture in ekosistemskih storitev ter vpeljano čezmejno spremljanje stanja voda, kar bo vplivalo na izboljšanje vrst in habitatov na območjih Natura 2000. Velik poudarek bo namenjen tudi ozaveščanju in usposabljanju ciljnih skupin. Čezmejno območje ima poleg velike vrednosti naravovarstvenih vsebin – ohranjanja vrst in habitatov na območjih Natura 2000 - tudi velik potencial za trajnostni turistični razvoj. Glavni rezultat projekta GREVISLIN je posledica sodelovanja zavarovanih območij na upravičenem čezmejnem območju s ciljem povečanja varstva okolja in sočasno potencialnega dolgoročnega vpliva na turistični razvoj, vzpostavitve novih zelenih delovnih mest in s tem vpliva na gospodarsko rast obravnavanega območja. Glavni rezultat je skladen s programskim rezultatom specifičnega cilja Okrepljeno upravljanje ekosistemov in obnovljena biotska raznovrstnost prek zelenih infrastruktur in ekosistemskih storitev, saj bo doprinesel k le-temu s pripravo dolgoročnega čezmejnega razvojnega načrta za zeleno infratrukturo, s spremljanjem stanja voda, ki bo vplivalo na izboljšanje habitatov in vrst, s pilotnimi ukrepi vzpostavitve zelene infrastrukture ter z zasnovo novih ekosistemskih storitev.
