Ce projet vise à mettre en place, à travers un réseau transfrontalier d’excellence en recherche et innovation en immunothérapie des cancers, une plateforme d’évaluation préclinique d’immunologie des tumeurs. L’implication des lymphocytes T CD4 TH1 anti-tumoraux dans l’organisation des réponses immunitaires sera évaluée, spécifiquement dans un contexte de vaccination CD 4. Les voies de signalisation correspondantes seront identifiées, permettant la mise en évidence d’acteurs moléculaires impliqués dans l’organisation des réponses immunitaires. Des stratégies d’immunothérapie innovantes, reposant sur l’immunomodulation ou vaccination CD4 TH1, pourront alors être développées. Ainsi, nous proposons ici de réunir les expertises en recherche clinique, les capacités d’analyse des réponses immunitaires ex vivo et de modélisation préclinique afin de créer un réseau transfrontalier dédié à l’innovation en immunothérapie. Le caractère structurant du programme permettra le développement de nouveaux outils d’évaluation des réponses immunitaires antitumorales et la réalisation de la preuve du concept pour de nouvelles stratégies thérapeutiques basées sur la modulation des lymphocytes T CD 4.

Description (EN):

This project aims to establish, through a cross-border network of excellence in research and innovation in cancer immunotherapy, a preclinical assessment platform for tumour immunology. The involvement of anti-tumoral CD4 TH1 T lymphocytes in the organisation of immune responses will be evaluated, specifically in the context of CD 4 vaccination. The corresponding signaling pathways will be identified, allowing the identification of molecular actors involved in the organisation of immune responses. Innovative immunotherapy strategies based on immunomodulation or CD4 TH1 vaccination may then be developed. We propose here to bring together expertise in clinical research, ex vivo immune response analysis and preclinical modeling capabilities in order to create a cross-border network dedicated to immunotherapy innovation. The structuring nature of the program will allow the development of new tools for assessing antitumor immune responses and the realisation of proof of the concept for new therapeutic strategies based on modulation of CD4 T-cells.
