Response is a collaborative applied research project between companies and laboratories located on both sides of the border, in the Canton of Neuchâtel and in the Franche-Comté region. This project aims to work to improve the safety conditions of the fire response services, as well as to monitor the evolution of the environment (fire and built). To this end, the potential research and engineering of areas of excellence of the Jura arc will be associated, namely the field of microsystems, and information and communication technologies. The involvement of firefighters is effective, both in the upstream phases of the project and during the construction of demonstrators and the test part. In addition, the project integrates the contribution of the human and social sciences in a perspective of co-construction of uses.RESponSE aims to develop innovative products with high added value, passive sensors resistant to hostile conditions, algorithmic solutions for monitoring people and environments, a smartphone application for the geolocation of firefighters during calls for intervention, and intelligent and connected clothing for rescue interventions. Finally, this project aims to optimise all the solutions produced and existing products (body sensors) into a set of coherent solutions adapted to the conditions encountered during rescue operations.

RESponSE est un projet de recherche appliqué collaboratif entre entreprises et laboratoires situés de part et d’autre de la frontière, dans le Canton de Neuchâtel et en région Franche-Comté. Ce projet se propose de travailler dans le cadre de l’amélioration des conditions de sécurité des services d’intervention incendie, ainsi que de suivi de l’évolution du milieu (feu et bâti). Pour ce faire, les potentiels recherche et ingénierie de domaines d’excellence de l’arc jurassien seront associés, à savoir le domaine des microsystèmes, et des technologies de l’information et de la communication. L'implication des sapeurs-pompiers est effective, tant dans les phases amont du projet que lors de la réalisation de démonstrateurs et la partie test. De plus, le projet intègre l'apport des sciences humaines et sociales dans une perspective de co-construction des usages.RESponSE vise à développer des produits innovants à haute valeur ajoutée, que sont des capteurs passifs résistants aux conditions hostiles, des solutions algorithmiques permettant le suivi des personnes et des environnements, une application smartphone pour la géolocalisation des pompiers lors d'appels à intervention, et des vêtements intelligents et connectés pour les interventions de secours. Ce projet prévoit enfin d'optimiser l'ensemble des solutions produites et des produits existants (capteurs corporels) en un ensemble de solutions cohérentes adaptées aux conditions rencontrées lors d'interventions de secours.
