This project aims to develop demonstrators in the form of bras, based on an innovative technology to diagnose breast cancer. We propose to combine two techniques of tissue exploration, one based on thermal externalisation on the skin surface in the vicinity of the cancer site, and the other on deep tissue exploration by electrical means at various frequencies. They are described as non-intrusive and non-invasive techniques. The evaluation of the medical relevance of the demonstrators will be based on a clinical study to be conducted in about 20 people including patients with advanced breast cancer and diagnosed by mammography.The results of this evaluation will lead to a second stage which will be the subject of another project in the continuity of this project, it will be oriented towards innovation. In this second project, a larger-scale clinical study (coho 100) will be conducted and implementation of the protocol for communicating diagnostic results to the treating physician and the patient will be carried out. The device will then be commercialised either through the transfer of technology to a market player or by the creation of a start-up.The final system will provide women with the opportunity to conduct individual screening, comfortable, health-free and accessible to all age groups.

Ce projet vise à développer des démonstrateurs sous la forme de soutiens-gorge, basés une technologie innovante pour diagnostiquer le cancer du sein. Nous proposons de réunir deux techniques de l’exploration tissulaire, l’une étant basée sur l’extériorisation thermique sur la surface cutanée au voisinage du siège du cancer, l’autre, sur l’exploration tissulaire en profondeur par des moyens électriques à des fréquences variées. Elles sont qualifiées de techniques non-intrusives et non-invasives. L’évaluation de la pertinence médicale des démonstrateurs sera basée sur une étude clinique à conduire sur une vingtaine de personnes incluant des patientes souffrant d’un cancer du sein avancé et diagnostiquées par la mammographie.Les résultats de cette évaluation déboucheront sur une deuxième étape qui fera l’objet d’un autre projet dans la continuité de ce projet, il sera orienté vers l’innovation. Dans ce deuxième projet, une étude clinique à plus grande échelle sera conduite (cohorte > 100) et une mise en œuvre du protocole de communication des résultats de diagnostic au médecin traitant et à la patiente sera effectuée. La commercialisation du dispositif sera ensuite réalisée soit par le transfert de la technologie vers un acteur du marché soit par la création d’une start-up.Le système final offrira aux femmes la possibilité de faire un dépistage individuel, confortable, sans risque pour la santé et accessible à toutes tranches d’âge.
