Description (EN):

The project has as main motto "DIRECT ACCES TO STUDENTS" and as the main objective, provides with a high priority to underprivileged students in the tertiary education classes in the Republic of Moldova a solid and honest bridge from the position student or qualified worker at the engineering university at the largest Technical University in Romania, TUIASI. 600 students in terminal classes of non-university tertiary education (centers of excellence, technical colleges of Republic of Moldova) from different regions of Republic of Moldova, will participate in information campaign on educational offer of TUIASI in their school, through a professional presentation. Of them, a total of 320 pupils will participate, during 8 series of four days, in workshops in engineering, professional counseling sessions and career orientation, student orientation activities, competitions and cultural activities, along with TUIASI teachers and students. Thus, although pupils now, they can actually live a student life at the "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University in Iasi (TUIASI), choosing a future career in the field of engineering being fully aware of it. TUIASI involved all of faculties (11). Teachers from Romania non-university tertiary educational institution - Post-secondary education situated in core region (counties Iasi, Botosani and Vaslui) who participate in a conference of exchange of best practices, with teachers from TUIASI and teachers from Republic of Moldova about Improving participation in all levels of tertiary education.

Number of beneficiaries of the awareness campaigns on study opportunities in Romania (600). Number of cooperation agreements with Centers of Excellence and Technical Colleges from RM (8). Expected Outputs (EN):

Elaboration of Study (1) - Elaboration of Study on the relevance of higher education in relation to market needs. Established cooperation agreements with educational institutions (8) - The project team of LB will develop the partnership agreement between LB and the centers of excellence and technical colleges in the Republic of Moldova. Established beneficiaries of the awareness campaigns (600) - Students from the selected Centers of Excellence will receive information about the opportunities offered by participation in this project and the opportunities offered for integration and familiarization with life in an academic / student campus. Conducting awareness campaigns (8) - At awareness campaigns on study opportunities in Romania for counseling and professional orientation of the students organized by Lead Beneficiary (BCI-RM) in the eligible institutions in Republic of Moldova will participate students and teachers from educational institutions from Republic of Moldova. Good practice conference (1) - A good practice conference will be organized in order to create an interinstitutional platform from the project area. Conducting short student camps (8) - Short student camps will be organized and conducted in Iasi by B1 (CRIS-RO) for 320 students and 80 teachers from Republic of Moldova. Conducting workhops at TUI IASI (64) - The Experts of TUIASI will sustain 64 Workshops by different subjects. Conducting sessions of professional counseling and career guidance organized of TUIASI (8) - The activities of these sessions will be carried out by a counselor of the Career Counseling and Career Center from TUIASI under the motto "Live Your Future" and are meant to familiarize students in the target group with the academic context in a non-formal way, friendly and appealing, through a series of exercises, role-plays and set-ups appropriate to their level of cognitive and socio-emotional development. Conducting visits of campus and the faculties of TUI IASI (8) - Each short student camp begin with a Presentation "Discover TUIASI and its people", a simulated interaction session "Pupil - School / Student - University" and a visit of the campus and the university with its faculties. Best Practice Guide (1) - Best Practice Guide will be designed to summarize the experience gained in the project implementation phases and to serve as an example in future projects.
