The objective of the Robotix-Academy project is to establish within the Greater Region a permanent research centre for industrial robotics. It serves as a platform for cooperation between transfer partners, business users and equipment manufacturers as well as universities and associated research institutes.The Academy’s action is focused on skills development and implementation in the industry sector. In particular, SMEs can count on the support to introduce new technologies but also large companies benefit from new offers of extra-university training, qualification as well as business advice. Everyone wins: The most modern equipment is used in common for demonstrations and tests as well as for putting into practice.

L'objectif du projet Robotix-Academy est de constituer au sein de la Grande Région un pôle de recherche permanent pour la robotique industrielle. Celle-ci sert de plateforme de coopération entre les partenaires de transfert, les entreprises utilisatrices et équipementiers ainsi que les universités et les instituts de recherche associés.L’action de l’Academy est centrée sur le développement de compétences et la mise en pratique dans le secteur de l’industrie. Ce sont notamment les PME qui peuvent compter sur le soutien afin d´introduire de nouvelles technologies mais aussi les grandes entreprises profitent de nouvelles offres de formation extra-universitaires, de qualification ainsi que de conseil aux entreprises.Différents universités de la Grande Région travaillent conjointement sur le sujet de la robotique industrielle. Tout le monde est gagnant: Des équipements les plus modernes sont utilisés en commun pour faire des démonstrations et essais ainsi que pour mettre en pratique.

Am 28. Juni 2022 trafen sich die Projektpartner der Robotix-Academy ein letztes Mal mit dem Projektbegleitausschuss (PBA) am ZeMA, um den Abschlussbericht des Projekts vorzustellen. Das Projektkonsortium der Academy sowie alle übrigen Projektbeteiligten freuten sich über den erfolgreichen Aufbau des Forschungsclusters für industrielle Robotik. Die Bilanz nach sechseinhalb Jahren gemeinsamer Projektarbeit kann sich sehen lassen: Ca. 430 Veranstaltungen konnte die Academy zwischen 2016 und 2022 durchführen und dabei über 44.000 Teilnehmer erreichen. Dabei wurden projekteigene Formate entwickelt wie z.B. die Robotix Vorlesung, die wissenschaftliche Konferenz RACIR, die Summer School oder die Roadshow und über die Jahre weiter verstetigt. Im Rahmen der 18-monatigen Projektverlängerung 2021/22 konnten zudem über 60 Schüler-Workshops angeboten und über 1.500 Schüler:innen für das Thema Technik sensibilisiert werden. Hier konnte die Robotix-Academy einen Beitrag dazu leisten, die MINT-Fächer zu stärken und den Forschernachwuchs von morgen zu mobilisieren. Der Projektbegleitausschuss (PBA) konnte sich von der gelungenen Umsetzung des Interreg-Projektes Robotix-Academy überzeugen und Fragen zum Abschlussbericht stellen. Besonderes Lob gab es von Interreg für die gelungene Umsetzung der Projektaktionen, die eingespielte grenzübergreifende Zusammenarbeit sowie die erreichten Kennzahlen 2016-22. Der grenzüberschreitende Forschungscluster für industrielle Robotik und MRK ist so zu einer festen Größe in der Großregion geworden.

Achievements (EN):

On 28 June 2022, the project partners of the Robotix Academy met with the Project Monitoring Committee (PBA) at ZeMA for the last time to present the final report of the project. The project consortium of the Academy as well as all other project participants were pleased about the successful establishment of the research cluster for industrial robotics. The balance sheet after six and a half years of joint project work can be seen: Approximately 430 events were held by the Academy between 2016 and 2022, reaching over 44,000 participants. The project’s own formats were developed, such as the Robotix Lecture, the scientific conference RACIR, the Summer School or the Roadshow, and continued over the years. As part of the 18-month project extension 2021/22, more than 60 student workshops were also offered and more than 1,500 pupils were sensitised to the topic of technology. Here, the Robotix Academy was able to contribute to strengthening the STEM subjects and mobilising the young researchers of tomorrow. The Project Monitoring Committee (PBA) was able to convince itself of the successful implementation of the Interreg project Robotix-Academy and asked questions about the final report. Special praise was given by Interreg for the successful implementation of the project actions, the well-established cross-border cooperation and the key figures achieved in 2016-22. The cross-border research cluster for industrial robotics and HRC has thus become a fixed size in the Greater Region.
