Description (EN):

This project aims to promote innovation in the Aquitaine-Euskadi-Navarra area through the collaboration between companies, technology centres, universities, hospitals and other agents in the region. LGMed was born from the work made in HEALTH LSR (development of liquid silicone health products and creation of a pole related to this), and COMPETITIVEKO (creation of the pole of medical devices “Innovmedica Alliance”). With this new project, the partners intend to continue promoting innovation in the health sector, and more specifically in the area of medical devices. In this way, through the work method developed in HEALTH LSR and in collaboration with the companies of the pole Innovmedica Alliance and LSR Silicone Hub, they will develop 4 prototypes of medical devices with polymeric materials. The developed devices will respond to a real need of the health sector and may be marketed in the future by the companies in the poles. This way the results of the research will reach the market. Likewise, they will carry out actions related to the poles that will allow agents to exchange knowledge and establish collaborative networks to continue working on the development of medical devices once the project is completed.

Con este proyecto se pretende fomentar la innovación en la zona de Aquitania-Euskadi-Navarra mediante la colaboración entre empresas, centros tecnológicos, universidades, hospitales y otros agentes de la región. El proyecto LGMed nace del trabajo realizado en los proyectos HEALTH LSR donde se trabajó en el desarrollo de productos sanitarios de silicona líquida, así como en la creación de un polo relacionado con la materia, y COMPETITIVEKO donde se fomentó la colaboración empresarial transfronteriza con la creación del polo de dispositivos médicos Innovmedica Alliance. Con este nuevo proyecto, los socios pretenden seguir impulsando la innovación en el sector salud, y más concretamente en el área de dispositivos médicos. De esta forma, mediante al método de trabajo desarrollado en HEALTH LSR y en colaboración con las empresas del polo Innovmedica Alliance y LSR Silicone Hub, se desarrollarán 4 prototipos de dispositivos médicos con materiales poliméricos. Los dispositivos desarrollados responderán a una necesidad real del sector sanitario y podrán ser a futuro comercializadas por las empresas adheridas a los polos de forma que los resultados de la investigación puedan llegar al mercado. Asimismo, todas las acciones que se realicen relacionadas con los polos permitirán a los agentes relacionados con el sector intercambiar conocimientos y establecer redes colaborativas para continuar trabajando en el desarrollo de dispositivos médicos una vez finalizado el proyecto.

Ce projet vise à promouvoir l’innovation dans la région Aquitaine-Euskadi-Navarre à travers une collaboration entre entreprises, centres de technologie, universités, hôpitaux et autres agents de la région. Le projet LGMed est né des travaux menés dans le cadre des projets HEALTH LSR, où le développement de produits de santé à base de silicone liquide, ainsi que de la création d’un pôle en rapport avec le sujet, et de COMPETITIVEKO, où la collaboration commerciale transfrontalière a été encouragée. création du pôle dispositifs médicaux Innovmedica Alliance. Avec ce nouveau projet, les partenaires entendent continuer à promouvoir l’innovation dans le secteur de la santé, et plus particulièrement dans le domaine des dispositifs médicaux. De même, toutes les actions menées relatives aux pôles permettront aux agents liés au secteur d’échanger des connaissances et d’établir des réseaux collaboratifs pour continuer à travailler au développement de dispositifs médicaux une fois le projet terminé.
