Description (EN):

The main objective of our project is to serve nature protection with continuation of the long-term harmonic and balanced co-operation between the Hungarian KTV and the Serbian PannonFund, which is on the promotion of the preservation of natural heritage as nature-respecting tourist destinations in order to serve the sustainable development in the cross border region. During the implementation the Beneficiaries have chosen the most difficult mission, to change significantly the attitude of people to common natural values of the cross border region, offer them factual and scientific information on sustainable use of natural heritage and show them good example how to employ the information in practice. They want to reach this purpose with a jointly made bi-lingual television nature magazine series of 20-25 minutes and regularly presented on both TV in every second Saturday evening at 7 pm. Each part consists of 5-6 small film units equally devoted to Serbian and Hungarian topics. Besides the presentation of common natural heritage, the series also offer regular information service on eco-tourism, rural tourism programmes, actions and regional achievements in this field. In order to maximize the impact and activate people especially youths, actions for poster and field competitions (2-2), participation in special cross border nature tourist programmes (2) will be organized. The calls for “Green Portrait” and “Green Ideas” also serve inclusion and motivation of young people. At the end a poll gives factual measure for the rise of common responsibility for common natural values and the understanding of the necessity of building common future. All activities correspond to the objectives of the IPA programme as they strengthen good neighbourly relations and encourage their harmonic, balanced and sustainable development. The project fully meet the requirements of the partnership as the project proposal has been jointly prepared and planned to jointly implement.
