Description (IT): Il progetto mira al controllo delle malattie e dei parassiti infestanti che colpiscono le aree target e alla creazione di programmi congiunti per la tutela biologica al fine di arginare la diffusione di questi parassiti sul territorio tunisino e siciliano.

Description (FR): Le projet vise à contrôler les maladies et les ravageurs qui affectent les zones cibles et à créer des programmes communs de protection biologique afin d'endiguer la propagation de ces ravageurs en Tunisie et en Sicile.

Description (EN): The project aims to control diseases and pests affecting the target areas and to create joint programmes for biological protection in order to stem the spread of these pests in Tunisia and Sicily.

Expected Results (IT):

sviluppo delle capacità degli operatori; sviluppo di strategie di controllo biologico che abbiano un impatto positivo sull'attuazione delle direttive UE e delle legislazioni nazionali e sulla crescita del commercio transfrontaliero; riduzione dell'uso di pesticidi nel controllo dei parassiti e delle malattie in orticoltura (solanacee/cucurbitacee); sviluppo di programmi e strumenti innovativi (insetticidi botanici/sintetici, biopesticidi e insetti antiparassitari; trasferimento di tecnologie agli agricoltori attraverso le associazioni di categoria

renforcement de capacités des opérateurs ; élaboration de stratégies de lutte biologiques impactant positivement la mise en œuvre des directives européennes et les législations nationales et la croissance des échanges commerciaux transfrontaliers ; la réduction de l’utilisation des pesticides dans la lutte contre les ravageurs et les maladies dans le domaine de l’horticulture (solanacées/cucurbitacées) ; développement de programmes et d’outils innovants (bio pesticides insecticides botaniques/synthétiques, et insectes anti-ravageurs) ; transfert technologie aux agriculteurs via les associations professionnelles

capacity building of operators; development of biological control strategies positively impacting the implementation of EU directives and national legislation and the growth of cross-border trade; reduction of pesticide use in pest and disease control in horticulture (solanaceous/cucurbitaceous); development of innovative programmes and tools (botanical/synthetic insecticide bio-pesticides, and anti-pest insects); technology transfer to farmers through professional associations

Expected Outputs (IT):

Indagine su larga scala di parassiti e malattie di nuova introduzione associati ai principali agroecosistemi vegetali in Sicilia e Tunisia; 1 Ricerca scientifica per l'individuazione di patogeni vegetali, con il coinvolgimento di ricercatori IPM, tecnici e agricoltori; Raccolta di campioni da campi/quadranti; Creazione e manutenzione di campi/serre pilota in cui verranno utilizzati nuovi strumenti di IPM e divulgati alle associazioni di agricoltori; 3 guide alla gestione integrata dei parassiti; valutazione dell'efficienza di trasmissione dei virus; sperimentazione e validazione (biologica, tecnologica ed economica) di nuovi strumenti di gestione dei parassiti; 10 visite di studio transfrontaliere; trasferimento tecnologico attraverso campi dimostrativi pilota di ortaggi.

Enquête à grande échelle sur les ravageurs et les maladies nouvellement introduits associés aux principaux agroécosystèmes végétaux en Sicile et en Tunisie ; 1 Recherche scientifique pour la Détection d'agents phytopathogènes, avec l’implication de Chercheurs IPM, techniciens and agriculteurs ; Collecte des échantillons effectuée dans champs/quadrants ; Mise en place et entretient de champs/ serres pilotes dans lesquels de nouveaux outils IPM seront utilisés et vulgarisés aux associations d'agriculteurs ; 3 Guides de gestion intégrée des ravageurs ; Évaluation de l'efficacité de la transmission de virus ; Expérimentation et validation (biologique, technologique et économique) de nouveaux outils de lutte contre les ravageurs ;10 visites d’études transfrontalières ; Transfert de technologie à travers champs de légumes pilotes de démonstration.

Large-scale survey of newly introduced pests and diseases associated with the main plant agro-ecosystems in Sicily and Tunisia; 1 Scientific research for the detection of plant pathogens, with the involvement of IPM researchers, technicians and farmers; Collection of samples from fields/quadrants; Establishment and maintenance of pilot fields/greenhouses in which new IPM tools will be used and disseminated to farmers' associations; 3 Integrated Pest Management Guides; Evaluation of virus transmission efficiency; Experimentation and validation (biological, technological and economic) of new pest management tools; 10 cross-border study visits; Technology transfer through pilot demonstration vegetable fields.
