Since 2014, GPMG has embarked on a dynamic approach aimed at developing cross-border and transnational cooperation on the French Guiana Plateau. It is a question of streamlining and profitable trade between the countries of the zone, Brazil (Pará and Amapá) and Guyana in particular. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: The objective of this study is to examine the possibilities of implementing a maritime cabotage scheme to serve the various areas of port activities located on the coast of the Plateau des Guyanes, with two extensions: — maritime cabotage to the Caribbean. — a river-sea cabotage in Guyana with a length of about 300 km and the major rivers of Guyana. Note this draft has been extended and amended (during the written consultation of 11/09/18), in view of the success of its first phase, in order to: — Change the duration of the operations (end of 31/12/2019). — Draft and launch an AMII for the commissioning of the interregional cabotage line.

Le GPMG a entamé, depuis 2014, une démarche dynamique visant à développer la coopération transfrontalière et transnationale sur le Plateau des Guyanes. Il s’agit de fluidifier et de rentabiliser au mieux les échanges commerciaux entre les pays de la zone, le Brésil (Pará et Amapá) et la Guyane notamment. DESCRIPTION DU PROJET: L’objectif de cette étude est d’examiner les possibilités d emise en oeuvre d’un dispositif de cabotage maritime permettant de desservir les différentes zones d’activités portuaires situées sur le littoral du Plateau des Guyanes, avec deux extensions: - un cabotage maritime vers la Caraïbe. - un cabotage fluvio-maritime en Guyane d’une longueur d’environ 300 km et des fleuves majeurs de la Guyane. A noter ce projet a été prorogé et modifié (lors de la consultation écrite du 11/09/18), au vu du succès de sa première phase, afin de: - Modifier la durée des opérations (fin au 31/12/2019). - Rédiger et lancer un AMII pour la mise en service de la ligne de cabotage interrégional.
