The sustainable design of the environment is particularly influenced by water management. The program region is divided into three large cross-border drainage zones: the Rhine, the Elbe and, for the project in question, the catchment area of the Danube, which also has large parts of the Czech program areas as feeders. Lower Austria and the Czech Republic share a direct border river with the Thaya. This is a direct necessity to solve water management problems collectively and across borders. In addition, the areas are topographically comparable, but also in terms of infrastructure, which is why innovative solutions for the public, users and companies on both sides have similar advantages and value-added potential. The aim of the project is to protect and improve the aquatic ecosystem by examining measures for monitoring water-technical and microbiological parameters on the technical side in order to increase water quality. To this end, the necessary skills should be created in the region and the innovation basis should be set. The main outputs of the project are: Cross-border integrated monitoring system of water management of chemical, physical and microbiological parameters to support and supplement existing monitoring programs. Technological competence network for the development of online measurement methods and sensors for water technology applications with the core partners Department for Integrated Sensor Systems of Danube University Krems and the CEITEC of the Technical University of Brno. A catalog of measures and a research strategy that includes both concrete application possibilities for water sensors at regional level, but also defines a strategy for the further development of this field. The innovation step is the (more) comprehensive use of real-time sensors for monitoring physical, chemical and microbiological parameters for assessing water quality. The sensors should be connected to one another via a network and forward their data to a cloud service. The data provided via this service are presented to the authorized user on a web interface and are intended to give authorities the opportunity to support existing or planned monitoring programs. Existing monitoring programs can be made more cost-effective by using the planned online monitoring system, as no personnel are required for sampling and analysis. Furthermore, measurements can be carried out at the "push of a button" and the measurement data is quickly available online via a database server. The sensor system should be easily transportable so that it can be easily relocated if necessary.

Die nachhaltige Gestaltung der Umwelt wird in besonderem Maße von der Wasserwirtschaft geprägt. Die Programmregion ist dabei in drei große grenzübergreifende Entwässerungszonen gegliedert: Den Rhein, die Elbe und für das gegenständliche Projekt das Einzugsgebiet der Donau, die auch große Teile der tschechischen Programmgebiete als Zubringer hat. Unmittelbarer teilen sich NÖ und Tschechien mit der Thaya auch einen direkten Grenzfluss. Dies stellt eine direkte Notwendigkeit dar, Probleme der Wasserwirtschaft gemeinsam und grenzübergreifend zu lösen. Zusätzlich sind die Gebiete topographisch aber auf in Bezug auf die Infrastruktur vergleichbar, weshalb innovative Lösungen für die Öffentlichkeit, Anwender aber auch Unternehmen auf beiden Seiten ähnliche Vorteile und Wertschöpfungspotentiale. Das Projekt hat zum Ziel das aquatische Ökosystem zu schützen und zu verbessern indem Maßnahmen zum Monitoring wassertechnischer sowie mikrobiologischer Parameter auf technischer Seite untersucht werden, um die Wasserqualität zu steigern. Dazu soll in der Region die notwendigen Kompetenzen geschaffen werden und die Innovationsbasis gesetzt werden. Die Kernoutputs des Projektes sind: Grenzüberschreitendes integriertes Monitoring System von wasserwirtschaftlichen chemischen, physikalischen und mikrobiologischen Parametern um bestehende Monitoring-Programme zu unterstützen und zu ergänzen. Technologisches Kompetenznetzwerk zur Entwicklung von Online-Messmethoden und Sensoren für wassertechnische Anwendungen mit den Kernpartnern Department für Integrierte Sensorsysteme der Donau-Universität Krems und dem CEITEC der Technischen Universität Brno. Ein Maßnahmenkatalog und eine Forschungsstrategie, die auf regionaler Ebene sowohl konkrete Einsatzmöglichkeiten der Wasser-Sensorik beinhaltet, aber auch eine Strategie für die Weiterentwicklung dieses Feldes definiert. (Kompetenz- und Bedarfslandkarte).Innovationsschritt ist der umfassende(re) Einsatz von Echtzeit-Sensorik für das Monitoring physikalischer, chemischer und mikrobiologischer Parameter zur Beurteilung der Wasserqualität. Die Sensoren sollen über ein Netzwerk miteinander verbunden sein und ihre Daten an einen Cloud Dienst weiterleiten. Die über diesen Dienst bereitgestellten Daten werden auf einem Webinterface dem autorisierten Anwender präsentiert und sollen Behörden die Möglichkeit geben, bestehende oder geplante Monitoring-Programme zu unterstützen. Bestehende Monitoring-Programme können durch Einsatz des geplanten online-Monitoring Systems kosteneffizienter gestaltet werden, da kein Personal für die Probenahme und die Analytik erforderlich ist. Weiters ist eine Durchführung von Messungen auf "Knopfdruck" und eine rasche online Verfügbarkeit der Messdaten über einen Datenbank-Server gegeben. Das Sensorsystem soll leicht transportabel sein, damit bei Bedarf eine einfache Übersiedlung möglich ist.

Udržitelné formování životního prostředí je zvláště ovlivněno vodním průmyslem. Programový region je rozdělen do dvou velkých přeshraničních drenážních zón: Rýn, Labe a pro daný projekt povodí Dunaje, které má také velkou část českých programových oblastí jako přítok. Bezprostředněji sdílejí Dolní Rakousko a Česká republika s Dyjí také přímou hraniční řeku. To představuje přímou nutnost řešit problémy vodního hospodářství společně a přeshraniční. Kromě toho jsou oblasti topograficky srovnatelné, pokud jde o infrastrukturu, a proto mají inovativní řešení pro veřejnost, uživatele i společnosti na obou stranách podobné výhody a potenciál s přidanou hodnotou. Cílem projektu je ochrana a zlepšení vodního ekosystému opatřeními pro sledování technických a mikrobiologických parametrů vody po technické stránce ke zvýšení kvality vody. Za tímto účelem musí být v regionu vytvořeny potřebné kompetence a základna pro inovace. Hlavní výstupy projektu jsou:Přeshraniční integrovaný monitorovací systém vodohospodářských chemických, fyzikálních a mikrobiologických parametrů za účelem podpory a doplnění stávajících monitorovacích programů.Síť technologických kompetencí pro vývoj online měřicích metod a senzorů s aplikací ve vodní technice s hlavními partnery Oddělení integrovaných senzorových systémů Dunajské univerzity Krems a CEITEC Vysoké učení technické v Brně.Katalog opatření a výzkumná strategie, která obsahuje konkrétní možnosti aplikace senzorů vody na regionální úrovni, ale také definuje strategii dalšího rozvoje této oblasti. (Mapa kompetencí a poptávky).Inovačním krokem je komplexní (komplexnější) použití snímačů v reálném čase pro monitorování fyzikálních, chemických a mikrobiologických parametrů pro hodnocení kvality vody. Senzory by měly být vzájemně propojeny prostřednictvím sítě a předávat svá data cloudové službě. Data poskytovaná prostřednictvím této služby jsou prezentována oprávněnému uživateli ve webovém rozhraní a jejich účelem je poskytnout orgánům příležitost podporovat stávající nebo plánované monitorovací programy. Stávající monitorovací programy mohou být nákladově efektivnější pomocí plánovaného online monitorovacího systému, protože pro odběr vzorků a analýzu není vyžadován žádný personál. Navíc měření se provádí stisknutím tlačítka a naměřená data jsou rychle dostupná online prostřednictvím databázového serveru. Senzorový systém by měl být lehce přepravitelný, aby mohl být v případě potřeby snadno přemístěn.

- Implementierung einer Messsonde zur Bestimmung verschiedener wasserwirtschaftlich relevanter Parameter wie: CSB, BSB, DOM, Temperatur, BIX, FIX. Weiters sollen im Rahmen des Forschungsprojekts Methoden für die Messung von: Nitrat, Nitrit, Phosphor, Stickstoff, Uran und als mikrobiologischen Parameter die fäkale Belastung anhand der vorhandenen kultivierbaren e-Coli Keime) erforscht und entwickelt werden. - Webinterface zur Darstellung und Interpretation der gemessen Daten - Publikation wissenschaftlicher Artikel sowie Vorträge auf internationalen wissenschaftlichen Kongressen. Mit Hilfe der Implementierung der online Messsonde kann ein substantieller Beitrag zu OP10 im Rahmen einer Öko-Innovation geleistet werden, indem die erhobenen Daten regionalen Verbänden und Entscheidungsträgern sowie der öffentlichen Hand präsentiert werden. Aus diesen Daten kann die aktuelle Qualität des Wasserkörpers beurteilt und daraus Prozesse und Managementmethoden für weitere Maßnahmen abgeleitet wer

- Implementace měřicí sondy pro stanovení různých relevantních vodohospodářských parametrů jako jsou: COD, BOD, DOM, teplota, BIX, FIX. V rámci výzkumného projektu budou dále zkoumány a vyvinuty metody pro měření: dusičnanů, dusitanů, fosforu, dusíku, uranu a jako mikrobiologický parametr fekální zátěže na základě přítomných kultivovatelných zárodků E.coli). - Webové rozhraní pro zobrazování a interpretaci naměřených dat - Publikování vědeckých článků a přednášky na mezinárodních vědeckých kongresech. S pomocí implementace online sondy lze významně přispět k OP10 v rámci ekologické inovace předložením shromážděných údajů regionálním sdružením a osobám s rozhodovací pravomocí i veřejnému sektoru. Z těchto údajů lze vyhodnotit současnou kvalitu povrchových vod a z toho lze odvodit procesy a metody řízení pro další opatření.
