Description (EN):

Overall aim of RoboTech project is to increase knowledge about robotics in primary schools in HU-HR cross border area, because the main motive is learning new technologies and focus is on robotics. Specific objectives of project are to involve robotics as an extracurricular activity in primary schools, introduce new knowledge and learning methods in programming and robotics, through expert educations gaining theoretical knowledge, and practical knowledge using modern educational technologies (robotics sets). Locations of implementation project activities include areas of Koprivnica-Križevci and Zala respective counties. Project activities will be aimed at the elementary school students and teachers between cross border partners. The Lead Beneficiary is responsible for the achievement of project activities and shall monitor the fulfillment of partners’ project activities. Expected outputs to be realized and results to be achieved: Program for an extracurricular course "Robotics" is jointly developed with both cross border expert in robotics and school staff, document is on HU and CR languages, each of six schools is equipped with 5-robotics sets equipment, and with five laptops necessaries for education and other activities in project. For webinars are purchased projectors, projection screens and speakers.16 teachers are educated by robotic experts during 72 school hours in programming and developing simple robotics modules, have knowledge to educate primary school student. For 16 teachers is organized competition after education, in development simple robotics modules. "Additional education for teachers is conducted; this will help teachers to work in the field of robotics of individual interest and to improvement-acquired knowledge learning documents that are made. For 90 students is organized education in robotics during 105 school hours. 2 Cross-border competitions in development of simple robotic modules for primary school students are organized. 2 webinars have been organized with purpose to exchange of experiences and connect teachers from cross-border areaa to the project. Project is promoted to the public: web site, e-brochure, promotional materials.This field is selected because robotics stimulates the concentration, creativity, innovation and teamwork. " In addition, robotics develops entrepreneurial spirit and competences in technological field and supports the application of new technologies in everyday life. It is an interdisciplinary field; it connects the areas of technical culture, mathematics, information technology and physics. The project will contribute to increase an advanced knowledge and skills in primary schools, in developing human resources for future careers through cross-border, multicultural and multilingual knowledge transfe.

The program for an extracurricular course "Robotics" was jointly developed including cross border experts in robotics and school staff. Altogether six schools were equipped with robotics sets equipment.16 teachers were educated by robotic experts during 72 school hours in programming and developing simple robotics modules in order to educate primary school students. Webinars, workshops, and even a competition was organized in building simple robotics modules.
