Objectives: The General Objective of SHERPA do MAR is to stimulate the creation and consolidation of new knowledge-intensive business activities in the marine-sea area of the Galicia-Northern Portugal Cooperation Area, in turn favoring the generation of employment and the increase of business competitiveness. It has been detected that there is no such body in such a significant sector for the economy of the Euroregion. For this reason, the project itself is configured as an innovative initiative, since it aims to coordinate the resources of support to entrepreneurship existing in the cooperation area to create a network of entrepreneurship based on technology in the marine-maritime sector that promotes both entrepreneurship and intra-entrepreneurship, and the improvement of the competitiveness of existing companies. This initiative will also have the support of the main universities and research centers of the Euroregion that will promote the exploitation of synergies between University-Company, Enterprise-University through the transfer of knowledge. In addition to the synergies that will be obtained from this coordination, the project aims to promote a series of innovative actions throughout its activities to achieve a greater valorisation of this marine-maritime entrepreneurship platform. Activities: — Design of a methodology to increase the probability of survival of entrepreneurship and intra-entrepreneurship projects (Sherpa Journeys). — Establishment of a measurement system associated with the entrepreneurship process that allows monitoring the evolution of entrepreneurship support processes. — Establishment of policies aimed at promoting the transfer of technology and knowledge through scientific-technical advisory activities from universities and research centers to entrepreneurs/companies. For this, the project will have not only entities supporting entrepreneurship, but also the main universities of the Euroregion and their transfer offices. This advice will favor the transfer of knowledge to a sector that manifests a wide potential for travel since it has not incorporated, throughout its trajectory, significant technological innovations. — Establishment of a synergy-generating structure on the knowledge and innovation triangle education/research/entrepreneurship. This triangle is composed of: universities, research centres, institutions and companies, and their mission will be to promote the creation of high added value spin-offs in the marine-sea world. Results: The main expected results of the project are: — It will have favored the integration of the beneficiary organisations of the project in a Euroregional platform of entrepreneurship with a stable technological base, which allows a higher rate of success in the phase of introduction to the market of new business projects and improvement of the competitiveness of pre-existing companies. — An approach will have been made to the real needs of the sector in terms of technological innovation through cooperation between the different stackeholders of the Euroregion, related in one way or another to entrepreneurship in the marine-sea sector. — A technological platform that supports the entire SHERPA do MAR entrepreneurship network will have been developed and that allows to centralise all the information of entrepreneurship and intra-maritime entrepreneurship in the same tool. — The technologies and knowledge with the greatest transfer potential will have been identified in the main universities and technological centers, and innovative business models that will help their valorisation will have been defined. — Needs and initiatives in the sector will have been identified that allow the location of new market niches that allow an increase in the competitiveness of companies, both newly created and existing ones. — Establishment of an ecosystem of dialogue and fluid feedback among stakeholders during the execution of the project that remains beyond the duration of the same. —Creation of employment in the Euroregion, through the promotion of entrepreneurship as a viable career option. — Increase the competitiveness of the companies of the territory in the marine-sea context. — Strengthen the knowledge/innovation triangle formed by the agents responsible for university education, entities dedicated to R&D&I and the business world. The project will have a positive impact on result indicator R03 (Variation of the number of companies in the cooperation area) through two ways: 1. The joint identification of 12 business projects with an innovative component in the marine-maritime sector and their accompaniment in the transfer and during the different phases of the entrepreneurial process, will contribute to the start-up of new companies. 2. In addition, the establishment of a cross-border platform to promote entrepreneurship and competitiveness in the marine-sea sector will create the conditions for the promotion of new technology-based entrepreneurship/intra-entrepreneurship activities in the future.

Objetivos: El Objetivo General de SHERPA do MAR consiste en dinamizar la creación y consolidación de nuevas actividades empresariales intensivas en conocimiento en el ámbito marino-marítimo del Área de Cooperación Galicia-Norte de Portugal favoreciendo, a su vez, la generación de empleo y el incremento de la competitividad empresarial. Se ha detectado que no existe ningún organismo de este tipo en un sector tan significativo para la economía de la Eurorregión. Por ello el proyecto en sí se configura como una iniciativa innovadora, ya que pretende coordinar los recursos de apoyo al emprendimiento existentes en la zona de cooperación para crear una red de emprendimiento de base tecnológica en el sector marino-marítimo que promueva tanto el emprendimiento como el intraemprendimiento, y la mejora de la competitividad de las empresas existentes. Esta iniciativa contará además con el apoyo de las principales universidades y centros de investigación de la Eurorregión que promoverán el aprovechamiento de sinergias entre Universidad-Empresa, Empresa-Universidad a través de la transferencia de conocimiento. Además de las sinergias que se obtendrán de esa coordinación, el proyecto pretende impulsar una serie de acciones innovadoras a lo largo de sus actividades para conseguir una mayor valorización de esa plataforma de emprendimiento marino-marítimo. Actividades: - Diseño de una metodología para incrementar la probabilidad de supervivencia de los proyectos de emprendimiento e intraemprendimiento (Sherpa Journeys). - Establecimiento de un sistema de medición asociado al proceso de emprendimiento que permita monitorizar la evolución de los procesos de apoyo al emprendimiento. - Establecimiento de políticas dirigidas a favorecer la transferencia de tecnología y conocimiento a través de actividades de asesoramiento científico-técnico de las universidades y centros de investigación a los emprendedores/empresas. Para ello, el proyecto contará no solo con entidades de apoyo al emprendimiento, sino también con las principales universidades de la Eurorregión y sus oficinas de transferencia. Este asesoramiento favorecerá la transferencia de conocimiento hacia un sector que manifiesta un amplio potencial de recorrido ya que no ha incorporado, a lo largo de su trayectoria, innovaciones tecnológicas significativas. - Establecimiento de una estructura generadora de sinergias sobre el triángulo de conocimiento e innovación educación /investigación /emprendimiento. Este triángulo está compuesto por: universidades, centros de investigación, instituciones y empresas, y su cometido será impulsar la creación de spin-offs de alto valor añadido en el mundo marino-marítimo. Resultados: Los resultados principales previstos en el proyecto son: - Se habrá favorecido la integración de las organizaciones beneficiarias del proyecto en una Plataforma Eurorregional de emprendimiento de base tecnológica estable, que permita una mayor tasa de éxito en la fase de introducción al mercado de nuevos proyectos empresariales y mejora de la competitividad de las empresas pre-existentes. - Se habrán realizado un acercamiento a las necesidades reales del sector en materia de innovación tecnológica a través de la cooperación entre los distintos stackeholders de la Eurorregión, relacionados de una forma u otra con el emprendimiento en el sector marino-marítimo. - Se habrá desarrollado una plataforma tecnológica que de soporte a toda la red de emprendimiento SHERPA do MAR y que permita centralizar toda la información del emprendimiento e intra-emprendimiento marino-marítimo en una misma herramienta. - Se habrán identificado las tecnologías y conocimientos con mayor potencial de transferencia en las principales universidades y centros tecnológicos, y se habrán definido modelos de negocio innovadores que ayuden a su valorización. - Se habrán identificado necesidades e iniciativas del sector que permitan la localización de nuevos nichos de mercado que posibiliten un aumento de la competitividad de las empresas, tanto de las de nueva creación como de las ya existentes. - Establecimiento de un ecosistema de diálogo y feedback fluido entre los grupos de interés durante la ejecución del proyecto que permanezca más allá de la duración del mismo. -Creación de empleo en la eurorregión, a través del fomento del emprendimiento como una opción profesional viable. - Aumento de la competitividad de las empresas del territorio en el contexto marino-marítimo. - Fortalecer el triángulo del conocimiento/innovación formado por los agentes responsables de la educación universitaria, las entidades dedicadas al I+D+i y el mundo empresarial. El proyecto incidirá positivamente el indicador de resultado R03 (Variación del número de empresas en el espacio de cooperación) mediante dos vías: 1. La identificación conjunta de 12 proyectos empresariales de componente innovador en el sector marino-marítmo y su acompañamiento en la transferencia y durante las distintas fases del proceso emprendedor, contribuirá a la puesta en marcha de nuevas empresas. 2. Asimismo, la constitución de una plataforma transfronteriza de fomento del emprendimiento y la competitividad en el sector marino-marítimo creará las condiciones para el impulso de nuevas actividades de emprendimiento/intraemprendimiento de base tecnológica en el futuro.
