Conservation of endangered species with sustainable provision of natural and landscape attractions of Stary Sącz and Levoča — innovative natural paths on the Municipal Mountain and in the Levoča Valley

The aim of the project is to create two tourist attractions in valuable nature areas, which will be built in such a way as to interfere as little as possible (at the stage of construction and exploitation) with the resources of flora and fauna located in the area. In S.Sącz on the Municipal Mountain there will be a path in the crowns of trees (L. 212.47 m), which will allow you to view nature in an innovative way and without interference with the habitat itself. The access to the attractions will be an innovatively designed nature path. showing the life of amphibians living in the Poprad Landscape Park, as well as teaching children and young people correct behavior in the natural world. In Lewoczańska Valley a nature path was designed. showing the life of the local amphibians and the most valuable element of local flora. The path (Lt. 1 175 m) will be guided around a small pond — a natural habitat of amphibians. The first part of the path will focus on amphibians, the second on the local flora (in this part it will be slightly above the ground in order to interfere as little as possible in the habitats). The whole is encased with an attractive element of small architecture, which will allow — especially the youngest tourists — to get to know the valuable species found in the Valley. It is also planned to adapt the building to the exhibition function (House of Nature). A very important element of the project will be a series of workshops and finalising the project popul.-scientific conference, which will be subordinated to the development of solutions aimed at combining nature conservation and preserving — in maximum intact — its value for the next generations, while developing a sustainable offer of tourists.-rekreac. Workshops are planned for naturalists, tour operators, children and teachers. There will also be interesting publications and a short film promoting the location of nature and showing in an attractive way newly built attractions (it is planned that the film will be created using a drone, which will make it extremely attractive in the landscape).

Przedmiotem projektu jest stworzenie dwóch atrakcji turyst. w cennych przyrod. obszarach, które będą budowane w taki sposób, aby jak najmniej ingerować (na etapie budowy i eksploatacji) w znajdujące się na tym terenie zasoby flory i fauny. W S.Sączu na Miejskiej Górze powstanie ścieżka w koronach drzew (dł. 212,47 m), która umożliwi oglądanie przyrody w sposób innowacyjny i bez ingerencji w samo siedlisko. Dojście do atrakcji stanowić będzie innowacyjnie zaprojektowana ścieżka przyrod. pokazująca życie płazów bytujących w Popradzkim Parku Krajobraz., a także ucząca dzieci i młodzież prawidłowych zachowań w świecie przyrody. W Lewoczańskiej Dolinie zaprojektowano ścieżkę przyrod. pokazującą życie tutejszych płazów oraz najcenniejsze elem. miejscowej flory. Ścieżka (dł. 1 175 m) poprowadzona zostanie wokół niewielkiego stawu – naturalnego siedliska płazów. Pierwsza część ścieżki skupiać się będzie na płazach, druga na miejscowej florze (w tej części zostanie nieznacznie wyniesiona ponad grunt, aby jak najmniej ingerować w znajdujące się siedliska). Całość obudowana atrakcyjnymi elem. małej architektury, które pozwolą – szczeg. najmłodszym turystom – na poznanie cennych gatunków występujących w Dolinie. Planuje się też dostosowanie znajdującego się tu budynku do funkcji ekspozycyjnej (Dom Przyrody). Bardzo ważnym elem. projektu będzie cykl warsztatów i kończąca projekt konferencja popul.-naukowa, które zostaną podporządkowane wypracowaniu rozwiązań, których celem będzie łączenie ochrony przyrody i zachowanie – w maksymalnie nienaruszonym stanie - jej walorów dla następnych pokoleń, przy jednoczesnym rozwijaniu zrównoważonej oferty turyst.-rekreac. Zaplanowano warsztaty dla przyrodników, touroperatorów oraz dzieci i nauczycieli. Powstaną też ciekawe publikacje oraz krótki film promujący lok. przyrodę oraz pokazujący w atrakcyjny sposób nowowybudowane atrakcje (planuje się, iż film powstanie przy wykorzystaniu drona, co sprawi iż będzie niezwykle atrakcyjny krajobrazowo).
