The Sports Frontier

The project aims to support talented youth in their development as professional athletes, as well as to create opportunities to gain professional qualifications as ski instructors and judges. In the border area, both on the Polish and Slovak sides, there are many ski resorts in which young people entering the labour market will be able to use the acquired qualifications. Cooperation with a partner school with the same profile of education will give the opportunity to exchange experiences and good practices in the education of athletes. The school from Banska Bystrica is located outside the area of support, but very often during training it uses facilities located in the border area, young people spend most of their time there and after obtaining the appropriate qualifications, they will be able to work in Slovak centres near the border. During the cooperation, we will focus on activities enabling young people and trainers to joint training and training, drawing on their knowledge and getting to know other sports facilities as well as on the organisation of instructor and judge courses for young people, giving them specific professional qualifications. The purchase of planned equipment of the hall, gym, wellness and ski equipment will give trainers the opportunity to conduct training at a sufficiently high level, which allows only equipment of the right class. It will be possible to introduce and test various training methods in the hall or gym, followed by renewal and regeneration necessary to maintain the form. The new, high-quality sports equipment will give students the opportunity to take full advantage of their skills and compete at the highest level.

Projekt ma na celu wsparcie uzdolnionej sportowo młodzieży w ich rozwoju jako zawodowych sportowców a także stworzenie możliwości zdobycia kwalifikacji zawodowych jako instruktorzy narciarstwa i sędziowie. W rejonie pogranicza zarówno po stronie polskiej, jak i słowackiej istnieje i powstaje sporo ośrodków narciarskich, w których młodzież wchodząca na rynek pracy będzie mogła wykorzystać nabyte kwalifikacje. Współpraca ze szkołą partnerską o takim samym profilu kształcenia da możliwość wymiany doświadczeń i dobrych praktyk w kształceniu sportowców. Szkoła z Banskiej Bystricy znajduje się poza obszarem wsparcia, jednak bardzo często podczas treningów korzysta z obiektów znajdujących się w rejonie pogranicza, młodzież spędza tam większość czasu i także po zdobyciu odpowiednich kwalifikacji będzie mogła podejmować pracę w słowackich ośrodkach w pobliżu granicy. Podczas współpracy skupimy się na działaniach umożliwiających młodzieży i trenerom wspólne treningi i szkolenia, czerpanie ze swojej wiedzy oraz poznawanie innych obiektów sportowych a także na organizacji dla młodzieży kursów instruktorskich i sędziowskich, dających im konkretne kwalifikacje zawodowe. Zakup zaplanowanego wyposażenia hali, siłowni, odnowy biologicznej oraz sprzętu narciarskiego da trenerom możliwość prowadzenia treningów na odpowiednio wysokim poziomie, co umożliwia tylko sprzęt odpowiedniej klasy. Będzie możliwe wprowadzenie i testowanie różnych metod treningowych na hali czy siłowni, po nich zaś odnowy i regeneracji niezbędnej do utrzymywania formy. Nowy, dobry jakościowo sprzęt sportowy da uczniom możliwość wykorzystania w pełni swoich umiejętności i rywalizacji na najwyższym poziomie.

The aim of the project was to create better development conditions for young people in sports schools and to create the opportunity to acquire professional skills as ski instructors and martial judges. In the border area, both on the Polish and Slovak side, there are and are being built numerous ski resorts where young people entering the labour market can use their acquired qualifications. The young people involved in the project, almost 900 Polish and Slovak students, took part in numerous domestic and foreign camps, courses and training courses.
