Description (EN):

The project is aimed at supporting educational activities in the form of comprehensive thematic courses for potential guides of individual tourists and tourist groups. The innovativeness of the project is that it does not offer classic guide services, but trains the participants in the course in one of 10 thematic blocks. Each of the blocks represents a common Slovak-Polish territory as an integral territory, thematically defined. There we can talk about the promotion of thematic tourism with high added value for tourists. Each partner has identified five different thematic areas (lead partner + 1 area — A block of Applied Tourism, which will be taught in each thematic course) which represent attractive tourist topics: First World War in the Carpathians, Religious development of the country under the Carpathians, Greek Catholic churches SK PL borderlands, Jews and their monuments, Cultural landscape Slovakia of the Polish border, Cultural heritage in the development of local communities, Forming identity of the place brand, Tourism in the Carpathian region, Use of fields of fighting in the field of tourism and local promotion, The past of the Polish-Slovak border as an element shaping the local identity. All thematic courses are linked to the border, representing it as a common region with a common past, culture. The duration of one course is 200-240 hours. The project in the first year foresees the preparation of courses, in the second year a total of 200 participants will be trained, and given the nature of the partners, this will be dominated by young people from the region. By acquiring expertise in one of the above topics, participants can gain a competitive advantage in better positioning in the labour market in the field of tourism services, or by accredited as a tourist guide (e.g. currently a leading partner) can act as self-employers in the region. The acquired knowledge, complemented by practical excursions, will improve the possibilities of young people not only to stay in the region, but also to contribute to its development.

Projekt je zameraný na podporu vzdelávacích aktivít formou ucelených tematických kurzov pre potenciálnych sprievodcov individuálnych turistov a turistických skupín. Inovatívnosť projektu je v tom, že neponúka klasické sprievodcovské služby, ale účastníkov kurzu odborne školí v jednom z 10 tematických blokov. Každý z blokov predstavuje spoločné spolovensko-poľské územie ako integrálne územie, tematicky vymedzené. Môžeme tam hovoriť o podpore tematického turizmu s vysokou pridanou hodnotou pre turistov. Každý z partnerov si stanovil po 5 rôznych tematických oblastí (vedúci partner + 1 oblasť - blok Aplikovaného turistického ruchu, ktorý sa bude vyučovať v každom tematickom kurze), ktoré predstavujú turisticky atraktívne témy: Prvá svetová vojna v Karpatoch, Náboženský vývin krajiny pod Karpatmi, Gréckokatolícke kostoly SK PL pohraničia, Židia a ich pamiatky, Kultúrna krajina slovensko poľského pohraničia, Kultúrne dedičstvo vo vývoji miestnych komunít, Formovanie identity značky miesta, Cestovný ruch v karpatskom regióne, Využitie polí bojov v oblasti cestovného ruchu a miestnej propagácie, Minulosť poľsko-slovenskej hranice ako prvok formujúci miestnu identitu. Všetky tematické kurzy sú spojené s pohraničím, predstavujú ho ako spoločný región so spoločnou minulosťou, kultúrou. Dĺžka jedného kurzu je 200-240 hodín. Projekt v prvom roku predpokladá prípravu kurzov, v druhom roku vyškoliť celkom 200 účastníkov, pričom vzhľadom na charakter partnerov to budú dominantne mladí ľudia z regiónu. Nadobudnutím odborných vedomostí v niektorej z uvedených tém môžu účastníci získať konkurenčnú výhodu pri lepšom umiesťovaní sa na trhu práce v oblasti služieb cestovného ruchu, príp. akreditovaním sa ako sprievodca cestovného ruchu (ktoré napr. v súčasnosti vedúci partner ponúka) môžu v regióne pôsobiť ako samozamestnávatelia. Nadobudnuté vedomosti doplnené o praktické exkurzie zlepšia možnosti mladých ľudí nielen zotrvať v regióne, tiež prispieť k jeho rozvoju.
