In the Dunajec Valley — protection and restoration of monuments of the Polish-Slovak border: the Manor in Tylmanowa and the monastery in the Red Monastery

The project will be implemented in the area of support by the municipality of Ochotnica Dolna as a leading partner in cooperation with Pamiatkový Úradom Slovenskej republic. The specific objectives will be achieved by carrying out the following substantive tasks: 1. Restaurant and modernisation of the manor in Tylmanowa and renovation and modernisation of the Red Monastery. 2. Revitalisation of parks at the court in Tylmanowa and at the Red Monastery along with the implementation of recreational infrastructure. 3. The creation of museum exhibitions and the organisation of events promoting common cultural and natural heritage in the Dunajec Valley as a result of the implementation of the river. 1. Two unique historic buildings will be renovated and modernised, their accessibility for people with disabilities will be improved. Implementation of Zad. 2. It will allow to revitalise the existing manor parks and monastic parks, where viewpoints, rest areas and other elements of recreational infrastructure will be built. As a result of the implementation of the zad. 3. 2 new museum exhibitions will be created. Soft activities were planned to promote the project’s products and popularise the knowledge of the common heritage, i.e. educational workshops for young people on the history of the Berskie manor and folk culture of the Municipality of Ochotnica Dolna and the history of the Red Monastery, a historic reconstruction of timber flow in the Danube and the transport of iron ore with the Pieniński Travet from Spiš via the Red Monastery to Tylmanowa, an outdoor event. “Holy Night with Floats from the Dunajec Valley”, a presentation of the resulting accessibility for persons with disabilities, a conference on the protection of monuments of tangible and intangible culture in the Dunajec valley (located by the Dunajec waterway) combined with a discussion panel summarising the experiences and initiated practices developed during the project in the field of conservation and modernisation works. Information material, joint publication and educational short film will be published in Polish and the vocabulary.

Projekt będzie realizowany na obszarze wsparcia przez gminę Ochotnica Dolna jako partnera wiodącego we współpracy z Pamiatkovým úradom Slovenskej republiky. Cele szczegółowe osiągnięte zostaną przez realizację następujących zadań merytorycznych: 1. Restauracja i modernizacja dworu w Tylmanowej oraz renowacja i modernizacja Czerwonego Klasztoru. 2. Rewitalizacja parków przy dworze w Tylmanowej i przy Czerwonym Klasztorze wraz z realizacją infrastruktury rekreacyjnej. 3. Utworzenie ekspozycji muzealnych i organizacja wydarzeń promujących wspólne dziedzictwo kulturowe i przyrodnicze w dolinie Dunajca W wyniku realizacji zad. 1. zostaną odnowione i zmodernizowane dwa unikatowe zabytkowe obiekty, poprawi się ich dostępność dla osób niepełnosprawnych. Realizacja zad. 2. pozwoli zrewitalizować istniejące przy zabytkach parki dworski i klasztorny, gdzie powstaną punkty widokowe, miejsca odpoczynku i inne elementy infrastruktury rekreacyjnej. W wyniku realizacji zad. 3. powstaną 2 nowe ekspozycje muzealne. Zaplanowano działania miękkie promujące produkty projektu i popularyzujące wiedzę o wspólnym dziedzictwie, tj. warsztaty edukacyjne dla młodzieży na temat historii dworu Berskich i kultury ludowej Gminy Ochotnica Dolna oraz dziejów Czerwonego Klasztoru, historyczna rekonstrukcja dotycząca spławu drewna na Dunajcu i transportu rudy żelaza traktem pienińskim ze Spisza przez Czerwony Klasztor do Tylmanowej, impreza plenerowa . „Noc Świętojańska z flisakami z doliny Dunajca“, prezentacja powstałych dostępności dla osób niepełnosprawnych, konferencja dotycząca ochrony zabytków kultury materialnej i niematerialnej w dolinie Dunajca (znajdujących przy szlaku wodnym Dunajec) połączona z panelem dyskusyjnym podsumowującym doświadczenia i zainicjowane praktyki wypracowane podczas realizacji projektu w zakresie prac konserwatorskich i modernizacyjnych. W języku pol. i słow. wydane zostanę materiały informacyjne, wspólna publikacja i edukacyjny film krótkometrażowy.
