Le projet MIX’ART Hartmannswillerkopf 2018 avait pour vocation de transmettre les valeurs de l'engagement citoyen et de l’amitié franco-allemande à 100 jeunes collégiens habitants de la région transfrontalière du Rhin Supérieur, au travers de l’appropriation de la mémoire partagée de la 1ère guerre mondiale. Cette appropriation se fait notamment par la pratique commune du Street Art à l’Historial du Hartmannswillerkopf. Ce projet artistique, éducatif et citoyen avec des rencontres, des moments de partages et des échanges linguistiques et culturels entre les jeunes, a fédéré les équipes d'enseignants, l’équipe pédagogique du Hartmannswillerkopf et des Street Artistes des deux pays. Le projet s'est déroulé de juin à décembre 2018. La journée de restitution et de valorisation du projet, à l’occasion des commémorations du centenaire de l'Armistice au HWK, a était l’occasion de présenter les fresques géantes de 12 mètres de long réalisées par les jeunes. Celles-ci sont ensuite destinées à être exposées de manière itinérante dans la Région.

The small project “MIX’ART — Hartmannsweilerkopf 2018” aimed to convey the values of civic engagement and German-French friendship to 100 pupils of upper secondary education from the cross-border Upper Rhine region. This mediation took place through the awareness of the common memory of the First World War and by actively practicing street art at the Hartmannsweilerkopf Memorial. This artistic, educational and civic engagement project, which provided for meetings, joint commemoration and a linguistic and cultural exchange of young people, brought together the teachers, the educational team of the Hartmannsweilerkopf Memorial and Street Art artists from both countries. The project took place from June to December 2018. The day on which the results of the project were presented and brought to light took place on the occasion of the commemorations 100th anniversary of the beginning of the First World War at the Hartmannsweilerkopf Memorial. On this occasion, the huge 12-metre-long murals created by the young people were unveiled. These paintings were subsequently presented as part of a travelling exhibition in the region.

Das Kleinprojekt „MIX’ART – Hartmannsweilerkopf 2018“ hatte zum Ziel, die Werte des bürgerschaftlichen Engagements und der deutsch-französischen Freundschaft 100 Schülerinnen und Schülern der Sekundarstufe I aus der grenzüberschreitenden Oberrheinregion zu vermitteln. Diese Vermittlung erfolgte über die Bewusstmachung der gemeinsamen Erinnerung an den Ersten Weltkrieg und durch aktives Praktizieren von Street-Art an der Gedenkstätte Hartmannsweilerkopf. Dieses künstlerische, pädagogische und dem bürgerlichen Engagement gewidmete Projekt, das Begegnungen, gemeinsames Gedenken sowie einen sprachlichen und kulturellen Austausch der Jugendlichen vorsah, brachte die Lehrkräfte, das pädagogische Team der Gedenkstätte Hartmannsweilerkopf und Street Art-Künstler aus beiden Ländern zusammen. Das Projekt fand von Juni bis Dezember 2018 statt. Der Tag, an dem die Ergebnisse des Projekts präsentiert und zur Geltung gebracht wurden, fand anlässlich der Gedenkfeiern zum 100. Jahrestag des Beginns des Ersten Weltkriegs an der Gedenkstätte Hartmannsweilerkopf statt. Bei dieser Gelegenheit wurden die riesigen, 12 m langen Wandmalereien enthüllt, die von den Jugendlichen geschaffen wurden. Diese Malereien wurden anschließend im Rahmen einer Wanderausstellung in der Region präsentiert.
