Ce projet consiste à aménager une piste cyclable pour relier Bättwil (CH), Leymen (F) et Rodersdorf (CH). Le tracé de la piste traverse la frontières à deux reprises, et s'étend au total sur 3,5 kilomètres dont 300 mètres sur la commune de Rodersdorf en Suisse. Actuellement les cyclistes doivent emprunter la route départementale D23, qui traverse Leymen pour se rendre dans les communes voisines, notamment en Suisse. Cette route départementale est très fréquentée et s'avère dangereuse pour les cyclistes, car elle n'est pas trés large. Afin de sécuriser les cyclistes et rendre l'utilisation du vélo plus attractive dans ce secteur, la plus grande partie de la nouvelle liaison est prévue le long de la ligne de tramway 10 (qui dessert Bâle), des mesures de sécurisation seront prévues au niveau de la traversée de Leymen. Ce projet permettra également de favoriser l’accès au Tram 10 au sein de la commune de Leymen et de relier directement les communes suisses entre elles. Les travaux de planification et de construction dureront environ deux ans et seront accompagnés de mesures de communication : panneaux d'information, articles de presse et sur les sites internet ou dans les journaux communaux et un coup de pioche et une inauguration. Saint-louis Agglomération se chargera de la maitrise d'ouvrage et de la coordination du projet sur la partie française et la partie suisse. Une convention sera signée avec Rodersdorf basé sur les accords de Karlsruhe.

The project consists of building a cycle path between Bättwil (CH), Leymen (F) and Rodersdorf (CH). The planned cycle path should cross the border twice and be a total of approx. 3.5 kilometers long, of which 300 meters are on the district of Rodersdorf. Currently, cyclists use the main road from Leymen (the route départementale D23) to reach the neighboring towns. This main road has a lot of traffic and is dangerous for cyclists as it is generally not very wide. In order to make cycling safer and more attractive, the cross-border connecting cycle path will largely run parallel to tram line 10 (Basel-Stadt-Rodersdorf). Traffic calming measures are also planned in the Leymen center. Incidentally, this cycle path should also better connect Leymen to the tram stop and the Swiss communities with each other. The planning and construction work is scheduled to last between a year and a half and two years. Communication measures are planned: building notice board, press articles and news on the website and in the community newspapers, as well as an event for the ground-breaking ceremony and at the inauguration. Saint-Louis Agglomérauion takes over the project management and thus the management of the planning and construction work on the French and Swiss side. An agreement after the arrival in Karlsruhe will be signed with Rodersdorf.

Das Projekt besteht darin, einen Radweg zwischen Bättwil (CH), Leymen (F) und Rodersdorf (CH) zu bauen. Der geplante Radweg soll die Grenze zweimal überquerren und insgesamt ca. 3,5 Kilometer lang sein, davon sind 300 Meter auf der Gemarklung von Rodersdorf. Zurzeit fahren die Radfahrer auf der Hauptstrasse von Leymen (die route départementale D23), um die benachbarten Ortschaften zu erreichen. Diese Hauptstrasse hat ein hohes Verkehrsaufkommen und ist für Radfahrer gefährlich, da sie generel nicht sehr breit ist. Um das Radfahren sicherer und attraktiver zu machen wird der grenzüberschreitdender verbindender Radweg zum grossen Teil parallel zur Tramlinie 10 (Basel-Stadt-Rodersdorf) verlaufen. verkehrsberuhingungsmassnhemen werden ebenfalls im Leymen-Zentrum geplant. Nebenbei soll dieser Radweg auch Leymen besser an die Tramhaltestelle anbinden sowie die schweizer Gemeinden miteinanden. Die Planungs- und Bauarbeiten sind für eine Dauer von etwa anderthalb jahren bis zwei Jahre vorgesehen. Dabei sind Kommunikationsmassnahmen geplant : Bautafel, Presseartikeln und News auf den Internetseiten und in den Gemeindeblättern, sowie eine Veranstaltung für den Spatenstich und bei der Einweihung. Saint-Louis Agglomérauion übernimmt die Projektträgerschaft und damit die Leitung der Planungs- und Bauarbeit auf französischer und auf Schweizer Seite. Eine Vereinbarung nach dem Karlsruher Aufbkommen wird mit Rodersdorf unterschreiben.
