The aim of this small project is to organize a weekend of cross-border encounters around Brazilian culture, organized by three clubs on both sides of the Rhine. During this weekend, which will take place from July 4th to 7th, 2019 in Kehl and in the garden of the two banks No fewer than 200 participants and 30 Brazilian artists will come together for workshops on Capoeira (Brazilian national sport) and Brazilian dance, accompanied by percussion rhythms.The lessons will be translated into German and French, so that a broad German -French audiences from the Upper Rhine region will have the opportunity to discover and actively participate in Brazilian culture. Participants will also have the opportunity to celebrate this culture with shared meals and a party on Saturday night. A public performance on the banks of the Rhine and on the Rhine Bridge will close the weekend. There will also be a short film and a photo report on this event on the Internet.

Ziel dieses Kleinprojekts ist die Organisation eines Wochenendes der grenzüberschreitenden Begegnung rund um die brasilianische Kultur, veranstaltet durch drei Clubs auf beiden Seiten des Rheins. Bei diesem Wochenende, das vom 4. bis 7. Juli 2019 in Kehl und im Garten der zwei Ufer stattfinden wird, werden nicht weniger als 200 Teilnehmer und 30 brasilianische Künstler zusammenkommen, im Rahmen von Workshops zu Capoeira (dem brasilianischen Nationalsport) und brasilianischem Tanz, unterlegt mit Percussion-Rhythmen. Die Unterrichtsstunden werden ins Deutsche und ins Französische übersetzt, so dass ein breites deutsch-französisches Publikum aus der Oberrheinregion Gelegenheit haben wird, die brasilianische Kultur zu entdecken und aktiv daran teilzuhaben. Die Teilnehmer haben außerdem die Möglichkeit, diese Kultur bei gemeinsamen Mahlzeiten und einer Party am Samstagabend zu feiern. Eine öffentliche Aufführung an den Rheinufern und auf der Rheinbrücke wird das Wochenende beschließen. Außerdem wird es im Internet einen Kurzfilm und eine Fotoreportage zu dieser Veranstaltung geben.

Ce microprojet consiste en l’organisation, par trois clubs de part et d’autre du Rhin, d’un week-end de rencontre transfrontalière autour de la culture brésilienne. Le week-end, se déroulant du 4 au 7 juillet 2019 à Kehl et dans le Jardin des Deux Rives, réunira pas moins de 200 participants et 30 artistes brésiliens autour d’ateliers de Capoeira (le sport national brésilien) et de danse brésilienne, le tout au rythme des percussions. Les leçons seront traduites en allemand et en français, de telle sorte qu’un large public franco-allemand de la région du Rhin supérieur aura l’opportunité de découvrir la culture brésilienne et d'y prendre part activement. Les participants auront également l’occasion de célébrer cette culture lors des repas qu’ils partageront et de la soirée du samedi soir. Une représentation publique sur les rives du Rhin et sur la Passerelle clôturera le week-end et un court métrage ainsi qu’un reportage photo seront diffusés sur internet à la suite de l’évènement.
