In the autumn of 2019, the BAAL novo Theater Eurodistrict will open its own theater hall, in the European Forum, directly on the Rhine and on the German-French border. This theater will also offer a space to other groups and initiatives geared towards cross-border activities, where they can present their work and exchange ideas, creating a place for cultural encounters between Germans and French in the middle of the Strasbourg-Ortenau Eurodistrict. The aim of the small project is to draw attention to this new venue and its possibilities as part of the European Culture Week (September 28 - October 6, 2019), which the BAAL novo organizes together with other cultural actors in the border region. The program will reflect a varied cultural offering: BAAL novo and various ensembles from Baden-Württemberg and Alsace will offer theater for a Franco-German audience, afternoon events for families from both countries and morning performances for schools. German and French citizens are invited to participate and contribute their ideas through discussion rounds, information evenings, themed workshops and hands-on theater. The European Culture Week will be organized in the manner of a festival, it will provide a framework for exchanges between the different actors, but at the same time will encourage networking between cultural workers and educators.

BAAL novo Theater Eurodistrict ouvrira à l'automne 2019 sa propre salle de spectacle, dans le Forum Européen au bord du Rhin, situé à la frontière franco-allemande. Une partie de la programmation offrira à d'autres groupes et initiatives, orientés vers des activités transfrontalières, un espace où ils pourront s'exprimer, échanger et présenter leur travail, créant ainsi un lieu de rencontres culturelles pour Français et Allemands au cœur de l'Eurodistrict Strasbourg-Ortenau. Le but du microprojet est d’attirer l’attention sur cette nouvelle salle et ses possibilités à l’occasion de la semaine culturelle européenne (du 28 septembre au 6 octobre 2019), que BAAL novo organise avec d'autres acteurs culturels de la région frontalière. La ligne de programmation reflètera une offre culturelle aux multiples facettes : BAAL novo et des ensembles provenant du Bade-Wurtemberg et d'Alsace proposeront du théâtre pour un public franco-allemand, des spectacles l'après-midi pour les familles des deux pays, ainsi que des représentations à destination des scolaires le matin. Des débats publics, des soirées d'information, des ateliers à thème et des projets de théâtre participatif inciteront les citoyens français et allemands à s'impliquer et apporter leurs idées. La semaine européenne sera organisée de façon similaire à un festival et offrira un espace d'échange entre les différents acteurs, tout en stimulant en particulier l'interconnexion entre créateurs culturels et professions de l'enseignement.

Im Herbst 2019 wird das BAAL novo Theater Eurodistrict seinen eigenen Theatersaal eröffnen, im Europäischen Forum, direkt am Rhein und an der deutsch-französischen Grenze. Dieses Theater wird auch anderen Gruppen und Initiativen, die auf grenzüberschreitende Aktivitäten ausgerichtet sind, einen Raum bieten, an dem sie ihre Arbeit präsentieren und sich austauschen können. So entsteht mitten im Eurodistrict Straßburg-Ortenau ein Ort der kulturellen Begegnung von Deutschen und Franzosen. Ziel des Kleinprojekts ist es, im Rahmen der Europäischen Kulturwoche ( 28. September - 6. Oktober 2019), die das BAAL novo gemeinsam mit anderen kulturellen Akteuren der Grenzregion organisiert, auf diesen neuen Veranstaltungsort und dessen Möglichkeiten aufmerksam zu machen. Das Programm wird ein vielseitiges kulturelles Angebot widerspiegeln: BAAL novo und verschiedene Ensembles aus Baden-Württemberg und dem Elsass werden Theater für ein deutsch-französisches Publikum bieten, Nachmittagsveranstaltungen für Familien aus beiden Ländern sowie Vorführungen für Schulen am Vormittag. Durch Diskussionsrunden, Informationsabende, Themenworkshops sowie Theater zum Mitmachen werden die deutschen und französischen Bürger eingeladen, sich zu beteiligen und ihre Ideen einzubringen. Die Europäische Kulturwoche wird in der Art eines Festivals organisiert, sie wird einen Rahmen für den Austausch zwischen den verschiedenen Akteuren bieten, gleichzeitig aber auch die Vernetzung zwischen Kulturschaffenden und Pädagogen fördern.
