Description (EN):

Common territorial challenge is decreasing rate of entrepreneurial activity in Sisak Moslavina county (CRO), municipality Nikšić (ME) and Herzegovina-Neretva canton (B&H). Their economies are economies in transition. They are in a need for a stimulative business environment, intense educations and overall support system. Project activities will be focused on discovering entrepreneurial potential among young’s (testing phase) and leading them through the process of ideas development, finding source of financing (e.g. crowdfunding) and starting up their business in existing business incubators (BI) in Novska, Mostar and Nikšić. A new testing model will be created as a tool for selection process for identifying entrepreneurial potential. Special entrepreneurship departments working as accelerators and laboratories in the scope of existing BI will be operating, dealing with further growth of an established companies, with intellectual rights, patents, technology transfers. The mentorship system will be designed - experts in various field will follow educations, idea development process and creating crowdfunding campaign. The aim of the project proposal is to strengthen the entrepreneurial competences with the emphasis on employment, the creation of innovative start-ups and the strengthening of the entrepreneurial activity. The expected change is improved business environment and an economic growth in area. Project outputs are: Capacities of team members SIMORA upgraded, Entrepreneurial cross border network formed. Target groups are SMEs, general public, local government, regional and national government, BSO, higher education and research. Their benefits are-raised capacities, new jobs for local population, increased incomes, decreased emigration. Benefits for target groups will result in enhanced competitiveness in project area. PP will join their efforts in achieving synergy and greater effect of project result thus contributing to cross border relevance.

Expected Results (EN): Range of cluster activities enhancing innovation, new technologies and ICT solutions

Expected Outputs (EN):

The main project result is increased range of cluster activities in project area aimed at enhancing innovation, new technologies and ICT solutions. Result indicator is 5 new cluster activities. Those activities are: establishment of entrepreneurship departments/laboratories (ED), educations, creation of cross border network, preparation for crowd funding campaigns and new start-ups established. The aim of these activities is to gather all relevant stakeholders in project area, to educate them and to create a powerful body able to stimulate entrepreneurship growth. EDs will bring PPS to work together in helping entrepreneurs to find their place on market, young’s and other stakeholders will connect through educational process thus improving their skills; cross border network will gather all relevant stakeholders in a strong committee able to answer to all cross border challenges; crowd funding campaign will bring experts from project areas in working together to find best financing options for new start-ups; new start-ups will not be limited by an country , or region as participants will work closely throughout the project exchanging their ideas and emerging when possible. In order to achieve project result, project has following project outputs: Entrepreneurship departments (ED) established and developed, Entrepreneurial capacities upgraded, Entrepreneurial cross border network formed and they correspond to output indicators given in the guidelines. Activities which will lead to those outputs consist of testing model creation, testing phase, educations, crowd funding campaign preparation, start-ups establishing and EDs forming. Target groups are SMEs, local and regional government, general public. Their needs are – employment opportunities, economic growth, decrease of emigration, new knowledges and skills, support service. All of that will be provided and achieved through CROWN project.
