Description (EN):

The overall objective of the project is to improve accessibility in the Izvoarele Sucevei - Shepit transboundary area and to promote the mobility of the population, goods and services in order to stimulate sustainable economic development by rehabilitating / modernizing 3km of Suceava County, thus improving the infrastructure of the historic Bucovina.

Expected Results (EN):

Rehabilitation / upgrading of 3 km of cross-border road Izvoarele Sucevei - Shepit; Increasing accessibility to various objectives for all user groups located in urban and rural areas in the proximity of cross-border transport infrastructure.; To develop local, cultural and economic tourism by rehabilitating / modernizing direct cross-border transport links, thus promoting the exchange of experience between Romania and Ukraine.

Expected Outputs (EN): 3km Total length of reconstructed or upgraded roads; increasing cross-border traffic volume with 1% on a year; increasing the volume of auto traffic in the cross-border area Izvoarele Sucevei - Shepit with 1% in the border area.
