Description (EN):

The project aims to ensure access to better labor markets for youth with disabilities from both Romania and the Republic of Moldova. Accordingly, 360 professionals from education and employment systems in both countries will receive the appropiate knowledge and skills to provide quality Career Guidance Services to people with disabilities, while at least 1500 youth with disabilities and their families will be made aware of these services. The project also aims to release and pilot two specialized Training Curricula and Handbooks in order to standardize a higher quality counseling.

Expected Results (EN):

1. Cross-border partnership for career guidance and labor mediation for persons with disabilities established between Romania and Republic of Moldova (1); 2. Methodological framework and tools for Career Guidance of persons with disabilities and for Labor Mediation developed and piloted within the educational and employment institutions in both contries (5); 3. Developed / strengthened capacities of 360 stakeholders from Romania and Republic of Moldova in providing quality career education and guidance to persons with disabilities (360); 4. Career Guidance Services within the National Employment Agency in Republic of Moldova regulated (1); 5. 1970 people aware of career guidance services for persons with disabilities in Republic of Moldova and Romania (1970); 6. Recommendations for improving the Career guidance Policies and Practices for persons with disabilities in Republic of Moldova submitted to the decision makers and other stakeholders (10);

Expected Outputs (EN):

Two Training Curricula and Handbooks developed and used during the capacity building activities (2). Three Guidelines developed and used within the capacity building activities (3): (1) on Equal Opportunities for employees at work, (2) on Employees motivation at work, (3) on Human resources management. 360 persons from Romania and Republic of Moldova participated in 28 trainings and other capacity building activities focused on career guidance for persons with disabilties; (360) - 28 capacity building activities will be organized in both countries. Quality Standards for the Career Guidance Services developed and approved (1). 1970 persons (including 470 representatives of target groups) participated in/benefited of awareness raising activities during the project implementation (1970). One research on Career guidance Policies and Practices for persons with disabilities in Republic of Moldova carried out (1).
