Description (EN):

The project aims to develop cross-border economic and institutional relations between Iași and Nisporeni by improving the transport infrastructure along the Sculeni-Albita crosing points. A 3-kilometer road will be reconstructed in Romania between the villages of Tutora, Opriseni and Chiperesti with DJ 249. A-5 kilometer road will also be rehabilitated in the Republic of Moldova, between the Varzaresti Monastery and other territories of Nisporeni District.

Expected Results (EN): Number of kilometres of reconstructed or upgraded roads (8). Environmentally friendly cross-border transport initiatives developed (1). Common action plan for cross border infrastructure improvement (1). Cross border connections and communication network (1).

Expected Outputs (EN):

Focus groups (8: 4 in Romania, 4 in Republic of Moldova). Common action plan (1). Business networking event (2). Visit study event (2). Exchange experience event (2). Rehabilitation of the road connecting the Varzaresti Monastery (and Varzaresti village) with the other territories of Nisporeni District (3.115 km). Rehabilitation of the roads connecting the villages of Tutora, Opriseni and Chiperesti with DJ 249 (5.21 km). A system of street lighting on the basis of photo-voltaic panels (1).
