Description (EN):

"Hermes - Heritage Rehabilitation as Multiplier cultural Empowerment within Social contest" is an infrastructure project that aims to strengthen the synergy between public and private institutions to promote and enhance the common socio-cultural identity of Greece and Italy through integrated interventions that include infrastructure works in disused archaeological and rocky sites, accessibility interventions and innovative cultural projects planned and managed in a sustainable way. Hermes focuses on 3 main themes: accessibility, creative industry and the and historical heritage, in order to develop a cross-border community identity and to produce a virtuous circle of cross-border cultural awareness and thus increase the sustainable cultural tourism offer. Municipality of Fasano is the Lead Partner of the project in cooperation with Apulian Public Theatre, Apulian Regional Directorate Museums, Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sport – Ephorate of Antiquities of Arta and University of Ioannina - Research Committee. Associated partner, the Department of Tourism, Economy of Culture and Territorial Enhancement of Puglia Region.

Achievements (EN):

A virtual environment with the main historical monuments of the city of Arta will be designed and implemented, where the technologies of both virtual reality and augmented reality will be fully utilized. It is planned to design an Augmented Reality application for the Tour of the Castle of Arta, as well as for specific cultural routes within the city of Arta.

Delivered Outputs (EN):

1.Analysis and editing of 1 cross border guidelines; 2.Editing of a didactic report of academy content; 3.accessibility interventions design, planning and realization in Lama D'antico and Lama s. Lorenzo; 4. editing and printing of didactic manual for schools in 3 languages; 4. designing and editing of a cross border cultural services catalogue;planning and editing of a didactic report of academy content;editing of selection call and management of selection phase for italian trainers and trainees; 5. Organization of 2 theatre show, including preparation of performance;accessibility interventions deign, planning and realization in acropolis of medieval castle and ancient theatre; 6. Organization of 1 theatre show, including preparation of performance;mapping and production of map geolocalized of cultural assets; 7. organization of 3 theatre lab in Arta (1 in music, 2 in acting, for different target each)
