Description (EN):

Incuba project, Cross Border Agrifood Incubators capitalizes the results of the strategic project Fooding, financed in the 2007-2013 Programming Period. The basic goal is to support enterprises of the agrifood sector through the provision of relevant services to new entrepreneurs. The Ilia Chamber and the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari (CIHEAM BARI) take part in the project. Specifically, the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari (CIHEAM BARI) participates in an initiative at the Mediterranean level named Mediterranean Innovation Partnership (MIP) with main objective the support of new models of incubators. The cooperation through the INCUBA project is possible to constitute another proposal of extroversion for the participation of entities and business of Western Greece to the MIP. More specifically the project aims at: Searching and selecting innovative ideas. Training and counseling support services for start-ups. Linking and matching businesses with other SMEs, collaborative and public utilities. Developing business models for innovative ideas. Interconnection actions with potential investors.
