Thanks to YESS Project, the first Cross-Border (CB) incubator within the Regions of Apulia, Achaia, Ionian Islands and Epirus has been created: an innovation pole focused on the creation and incubation of new companies operating in tourism, design, blue growth and e-health. The Incubator provides most of its services both through a physical and a virtual environment, and will foster new business ideas, encouraging the co-design and cooperation within students, researchers, start-uppers and entrepreneurs, maximizing the benefits of the Web 2.0 technologies and using an open access innovation approach. Within the project a pitch event will be organized in each Country, where the most interesting ideas an business plans will be presented to investors and other targeted stakeholders. But YESS it is not only an Incubator, in fact it promotes the entrepreneurial spirit and culture in young people. Along project lifetime several actions are foreseen: sensitization and dissemination events, specific courses and webinars for wannabe start-uppers, a CB business game competition for students of secondary schools, and a CB summer school on “Digital Transformation”.

Delivered Outputs (EN):

a.Analysis of existing incubation eco-system, meeting with relevant stakeholders, report on best practices about innovation funds and innovative funding schemes b.1 Web Incubation Platform, 2 “Physical” incubation Labs (1 pre-seed in Greece and 1 operative in Italy) c.20 selected start-ups belonging to both countries to be trained and supported d.Creation of tools for training, coaching and mentoring schemes to deliver to the selected start-ups; 5 webinars e.Training activities for 20 trainers f.1 Summer school for young students, etc.
