De groeiende personeelsschaarste in de ruime sector ‘zorg en welzijn’ is zonder twijfel één van de grote uitdagingen op de Vlaamse en de Nederlandse arbeidsmarkt. Onder andere als gevolg van de vergrijzing en van complexere en langdurige zorg- en ondersteuningstrajecten zullen de arbeidstekorten in de komende jaren nog verder toenemen. Om te anticiperen op het nijpende tekort op de arbeidsmarkt zullen organisaties uit de brede gezondheidszorgsector meer moeten inzetten op de selectie, uitrol en implementatie van innovatieve en/of digitale processen, productinnovaties en nieuwe samenwerkingsmodellen. Daarnaast is er binnen de zorgorganisaties nood aan ondersteuning en coaching van medewerkers of sleutelfiguren die deze brugfunctie tussen innovatie en werkvloer willen opnemen en zo een katalyserende rol voor verandering en innovatie binnen de organisatie kunnen vervullen. Care2Adapt wil de innovatiebereidheid en het adaptief vermogen van organisaties en hun medewerkers versterken met behulp van een praktijk georiënteerd en grensoverschrijdend coaching- en opleidingstraject. Het uitgebreide ‘train-de-trainer-traject' voor inmiddels 35 sleutel- en brugfiguren uit diverse organisaties in Vlaanderen en Nederland bouwt verder op de lessen van de Health Innovation School (NL) en het Innovatiescout-programma (VL). Hierbij worden nadrukkelijk ook de bestuurders/directies betrokken en gaan alle sleutelfiguren binnen hun eigen organisatie met een projectgroep aan de slag. Care2Adapt zal zorgprofessionals en organisaties op die manier duurzaam versterken en ook op lange termijn in staat stellen om flexibeler, creatiever en innovatiever om te gaan met de zorguitdagingen die op hen afkomen.

The growing shortage of personnel in the broad sector 'care and welfare' is without doubt one of the major challenges on the Flemish and Dutch labor markets. The labor shortages will increase even further in the coming years as a result of the aging population and more complex and long-term care and support processes. In order to anticipate the acute shortage on the labor market, organizations from the broad healthcare sector will have to focus more on the selection, roll-out and implementation of innovative and/or digital processes, product innovations and new collaboration models. In addition, there is a need within healthcare organizations for support and coaching of employees or key figures who want to take on this bridging function between innovation and the workplace and thus fulfill a catalytic role for change and innovation within the organization. Care2Adapt wants to strengthen the innovation willingness and adaptive capacity of organizations and their employees by means of a practice-oriented and cross-border coaching and training program. The extensive 'train-the-trainer trajectory' for now 35 key and bridge figures from various organizations in Flanders and the Netherlands builds on the lessons of the Health Innovation School (NL) and the Innovation Scout program (VL). The administrators/directors are also explicitly involved in this and all key figures within their own organization work with a project group. Care2Adapt will sustainably strengthen healthcare professionals and organizations in this way and also enable them in the long term to deal more flexibly, creatively and innovatively with the healthcare challenges that come their way.
