Description (EN):

The project seeks to improve, through extension or restoration works, two cultural, historical and architectural monuments - House Gheorghiade - The Cultural Centre "Lower Danube" Galati, Romania (extension) and The Steam Mill, Mereseni, Hincesti, Republic of Moldova (restoration). The improved heritage will foster the valorisation of the local cultural and historical heritage in Galati and Hincesti regions as a key factor in enhancing territorial attractiveness on both sides of the border.

Heritage sites improved, equipped and ready for exploitation in Galati, Romania and Mereseni, Hincesti, Republic of Moldova (2) New cultural offer promoting the local cultural and historical heritage (5) New participants in cultural-heritage events (5100) Visitors aware of the richness of the cultural heritage in the two regions (400) Local cultural actors with better competences (60) Institutions with enhanced capacities for the management of heritage sites and cultural projects (4)
