Description (EN):

Our product is a water cleaning equipment. It is powered by solar energy and alternatively by elecrical grid, if the later is available. Energy sources can be switched depending on the availability of sunshine, and on the water demand. It can produce clean water for various purposes: drinking water, industrial process water, greenhouse irrigation water, boiler feed water, and others. The core technology step is a high pressure membrane filtration associated with pre- and post treatment units. Novelties: 1. There are no similar products on the market. Only one government supported French pilot plant is reported in late 2018. It was a world novelty, when we prepared the B-Light Concept. It is missing even from a new Stanford University study dealing with cost optimalization of desalination: https://web.stanford.edu/group/ees/rows/presentations/Voutchkov.pdf. 2. Gaining one m3 of clean water from sea water reqiures 5-6 kWh electric energy, and 1.5-2 kWh, while processing medium salty ground water. The new jointly developped product is able to run without electricity cost, which makes it competitive on the international market. The lifetime cost would be less than 1 EUR/m3 for sea water and 0.3 EUR/m3 for ground water. 3. The product can be regarded also as an alternative for storage of green energy: instead of storing electric energy in batteries, we store the energy demanding product, the water. We will make a prototype of this equipment. The prototype will be showed on trade fairs and will be tested at the potential customers on-site. Every application site needs some modification or extension to optimize the performance for their raw water quality. The development, the production and optimalization of the prototype will provide esential skills for the involved staff, which will be necessary in the self-sustaining periode.
