- DIVA, Interreg Slovenia/Italy (EN) |
- 3 institutions from the consortium (PTP, FINN, IUAV) are taking part of this project that is aimed at developing creative ecosystems and innovation value chains by supporting cross-border innovation through creative industries. Capacity 2Transform will further capitilize within DIVA gained knowledge and experience, sharing it to other partners and upgrading it with new tools and skills. Slovenian and Italian platforms, tools, mechanisms and DIVA knowledge will be further developed and tested during the Capacity2Transform, focusing on digital and green transition (WP2). Crossborder experience from strategic project DIVA will be applied to wider Central Europe area and upgraded with C2T knowlege; Numerous institutions in the CE region will have the opportunity to test and transform themselves in order to deliver DGC products and services (WP3), also for the market. The network of participating institutions in the DIVA project, both target groups and the partnership, will contribute to the visibility and success of the implementation of the Capacity2Transfer project. (EN), CCI4TOURISM, Interreg Adrion Program (EN) | FINN and IRIC as active partners in this action bring the knowledge and experience developed within the "Cultural Creative Industries for Tourism (CCI4T). This project aims at strengthening the entrepreneurial skills of Cultural and Creative Industries for the valorization of cultural heritage and the development of sustainable tourism models in the Adriatic-Ionian regions.
- Considering that CCI4TOURISM ends in 2022 by the beginning of 2023 the following outputs will be leveraged within the Capacity2Transform work plan: (1.) Transnational Strategy for the strengthening CCIs skills and competences, (2.) Transnational Action Plan for an Adriatic-Ionian Cultural Tourism 4.0, (3.) Pilot Action Results about cross-fertilization/hybridization of companies belonging to different sectors that may jointly design and develop innovative products/services for cultural tourism. (4.) established Creative Hubs Network for Cultural Tourism (CHN). In particular represents an important platform to promote, involve C2 T's main targets: BSO, CCIs, and sustainable tourism stakeholders. With reference to the Central Europe program area, the CCI4T Creative Hubs Networks that are actively involved refer to: Friuli Venezia Giulia (IT), Western Slovenia, and Adriatic Croatia.
- In addition, the capitalization results of ADRION Thematic Sub-cluster on Cultural and Creative Industries (including CCI4T). The Sub-Cluster Policy Recommendations (published at the end of 2021) highlight for CCis and tourism the importance of 1) investing in innovation, research, and education (lifelong learning); 2) of the greening of CCis (production, operations, distribution, etc.); 3) strengthening of the role of CCIs in sustainable development beyond the economic contribution (local knowledge and skills).
- (EN), CRE:HUB, Interreg Europe (EN) | The CRE:HUB project – “Policies for cultural
- CREative industries: the HUB for innovative
- regional development” started on the 1st April
- 2016 and is going to end on the 31st March
- 2021. CRE:HUB brings together eight regions, among them Italy (Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region), Slovenia and Hungary (CTRIA) beeing also in Capacity2Transform project. CRE_HUB considers Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI)
- a strategic sector of development and want
- to create new enterprises and to support the
- existing ones working in this field.
- CRE:HUB aims at developing
- operational programmes that concretely
- results in improvements in the management of
- policy instruments and in implementation of
- new projects. Policy changes will be tailored to
- meet specific CCIs needs. These conclusions, guidelines and recomendations will be further reviewed and tested as part of the Capacity2Transfer project. The latter project will thus show whether and what changes have taken place in the field of support and addressing CCIs, but also sustainable tourism. In addition, Capacity2Transfer will also strengthen activities in the direction of digitizaation and green transformation. Digitization, green and creativity go hand in hand and together they will contribute to effective progress and growth in CE region and beyond. (EN), RESONATE, Erasmus+ 2014-2020 (EN) | REgional SOcial business iNcubATor nEtwork project started on 01-10-2020 and will end 30-09-2022. The 24 month RESONATE project aims to connect Regional Social business iNcubaATors from Austria, Spain and Italy in a nEtwork to exchange knowledge on their current practices in relation to providing training, mentoring, coaching activities to social entrepreneurs in their regions (surroundings of Graz, Milan and Barcelona). Capacity2Transform is a project that focuses on upskilling, including business support organizations, which play crucial role in providing quality knowledge and services to new and established companies. This project addresses the business environments of the wider region and RESONATE participants will be able to monitor and compare the results obtained and test the results of the Capacity2Transform project and also test them in their environment.
- Social entrepreneurship is key for employment creation, economic growth and it also enhance social inclusion and tackle societal challenges through business initiatives.
- Social business incubators support social entrepreneurship through providing not only services, such as office spaces, consulting, but have an important role in developing attitudes, transfer knowledge and improve skills through non-formal learning opportunities. These training sessions cover several topics that help the creation of new social ventures and the strengthening of existing ones. Social entrepreneurs can learn how to develop new ideas, build business models, measure their impact, administer a new company or become self-employed and be prepared for investment. Capacity2Transform will offer these companies an additional digital and green transition and help shape the market in this area. This will also contribute to a more quality-oriented and more sustainable future. (EN), COCO4CCI, Interreg Central Europe (EN) | COCO4CCI tackles the challenges of CCI sector that lacks a transnational and cross-sectoral shared vision on what could be its contribution to economic and social growth in central Europe. This goes along with a lack of capacities in CCI for linking up with other industry sectors to foster innovation processes. The COCO4CCI project builds capacities for cross-sectoral cooperation in advanced manufacturing (AVM), by creating a transnational CCI collider network of partners: Austria, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia (Chamber of Commerce), Germany and Italy. Based on a mapping of CCI potentials and a roadmap, COCO4CCI will develop the collider concept, in which CCI hubs and business support organisations work in tandem, complementing each other with knowledge and experiences from its sector. COCO4CCI will train facilitators who will implement an extensive online and face-to-face training programme for CCI in three areas: technology development, future trends and mind-set in advanced manufacturing. The project partnership will develop tools to initiate and facilitate cross-sectoral links between CCI and AVM. Capacity2Transform will further strengthen the role of the CCI and its potential for other sectors and offer new opportunities for cooperation and mutual fertilization, and in particular the opportunity for change towards the digital and green transition to same countries participating in COCO4CCI, but additionaly to Czech, Hungary and Croatia. The added value of the Capacity2Transfer project is in upskilling, not only companies, but also the environment, ie business support organizations, which will also undergo changes in terms of acquired knowledge, including in the field of creativity. This project has a holistic approach, where those involved learn about best practices, learn from each other, analyze and upgrade their knowledge and therefore change their way of thinking and perception, which will become more digital, green and creative. (EN), CHIMERA Plus, Interreg Mediterranean (EN) | Chimera Plus project aims to promote the Mediterranean innovation capacities to develop smart and sustainable growth, transferring Chimera methodology unleashing the creative potential of CCIs in sustainable urban development. It will happen promoting the transition towards the EU green deal and urban sustainability and implementing strategic action plans for the specific contexts involved. Capacity2Transform also intends to address the underutilized potential of the cultural and creative industries, as well as sustainable tourism and others, in order to address green and digital development and transformation together. The approach to transfer CHIMERA methodology is based on a mentoring and capacity building process, where Giver partners, Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region among them, adapt Chimera methodology to Receivers' needs and support Receiver partners in implementing CHIMERA process till the development of the strategic action plans for their specific contects. In particular, the process focuses on the regional CCI sector analysis, regional working groups involving man stakeholderss and frontrunners analysis. Furthermore, at the end of the transferring process Giver partnes will outline guidelines for the policy makers of MED area to support CCI sector and its role in achivening EU green deal objectives and urban sustainability. The CHIMERA Plus project builds on the experience, results and findings of the CHIMERA project, the Capacity2Transform project can use all these and even test and possibly complement/upgrade them. This project does not explicitly address urbanity, but is open and inclusive in addressing challenges. From this point of view, it reduces the differences between urban and rural areas. (EN), SmartCulTour, H2020; 2020-2023 (EN) | SmartCulTour joins 10 partners, including Croatia (FEBT Split), Austria and Italy, and aims at supporting regional development in all European regions with important tangible and intangible cultural assets, including those located in rural peripheries and the urban fringe, through sustainable cultural tourism.

- Capacity2Transform intends to strengthen the cultural and creative sector and offer the opportunity to use its potential, which is mostly tied to local resources and local jobs. Sustainable tourism, which is innovative, creative and green, is also at the forefront. The main activities of the project are upskilling and empowering of the creative sector to enable digital and green transformations, as well as increasing the knowledge of support institutions, including decision-makers, who will be able to offer relevant knowledge and support to different target groups in a long run.
