There is a need for a common direction for countries and organizations to reduce black carbon emissions in the Arctic while paying attention to climate change and human health. Achievements (EN):

Barents cooperation is very important and the roadmap, written during this project, will bring a regional perspective. The frame for the roadmap was built up after every workshop and in the final workshop, the results were introduced to the audience. New ideas for cooperation have been found during this CB4BC-project and the work for black carbon mitigation continues.
