- The project envisages a highly innovative data strategy, and in particular provides for the introduction of a DMS software and the virtualization of the Emilia-Romagna tourism system for forecasting purposes, with the ultimate goal of increasing the effectiveness of the promotion of sustainable tourism offer existing on the regional territory.
- (EN) | LIBECCIO DMSS will be able to support the Data Science and Digital Twins DMS, integrating it with valuable information and adding further completeness to future Digital Twin of the regional tourism system, supporting, so, the entire complex of decision-making processes related to the promotion and management of the regional tourism heritage inherent in Sustainable Tourism.
- The synergy will allow the Emilia Romagna region to:
- 1) develop sustainable tourism strategies consistent with the more general objectives of the Green Deal, meets the interest of national and international tourists who are looking for a holiday that allows them to live unique experiences and respect the territory in all its expressions
- 2) enhance its tourism offer with an ecological footprint, promotes itineraries, routes and paths of particular tourist, historical and cultural interest, and favors the development of a tourism offer oriented towards sustainable behavior from an environmental point of view, outdoor tourism and active holidays and promotes widespread economic recovery, particularly, in areas at risk of depopulation of the Emilia-Romagna Apennines.
- 3) implement intangible investments with a high technological content to promote tourist information and marketing of the green, slow and active experiences
