Contribution to wider strategies and policies:

  • EuropeanGreenDeal This project is in line the EU Green Deal and its climate neutrality goals, especially for what concerns the mobilization of industry for a clean and circular economy to achieve the objectives of a circular and zero climate impact economy. European industry is still too "linear" and dependent on new extracted, traded and transformed materials into goods and sold off as waste or emissions. For this reason, the Union is committed to encourage companies to offer and to allow consumers to choose, reusable, durable and repairable products.
  • TerritorialAgenda2030 The project is in line the 2030 Territorial Agenda as regards the will to update infrastructures and modernize industries to make them sustainable, to achieve greater efficiency of the resources and a greater adoption of clean technologies that respect the environment and industrial processes.
  • EUStrategyDanubeRegion This project is in line the EUSDR Strategy and its PA08 focused on the Competitiveness of Enterprises, in particular to foster cooperation and exchange of knowledge between SMEs, academia and the public sector as well as its PA02 to improve energy efficient, cost efficient and innovative low-carbon technologies, including smart solutions while respecting the principle of technological neutrality.
  • EUStrategyAdriaticIonianRegion The project is also in line with the EUSAIR Strategy, contributing to the objective “to improve waste management by reducing waste flows to the sea and, to reduce nutrient flows and other pollutants to the rivers and the sea” of the Pillar 3- Environmental Quality. Therefore, with the European Green Deal, it aims to preserve the marine and terrestrial biodiversity and to reduce air and sea pollution from production and consumption wastes.
  • EUStrategyBalticSeaRegion Reuse 2030 will support the Policy Area Innovation of the EUSBSR Strategy aimed at promoting a globally competitive position within innovation for sustainable economic growth in the BSR, and providing a strong platform for an enhanced macro-regional collaborative ecosystem for innovation, research, SMEs and digitalization.
  • EUStrategyAlpineRegion Reuse 2030 contributes to the achievement of the Objective 1 of the EUSALP focused on sustainable growth and promoting innovation in the Alps in order to foster a more balanced model of development through innovative approaches and to strengthen the sustainability of the region. This project also contributes to the achievement of the Objective 3 focused on ensuring sustainability in the Alps by promoting a sustainable use of natural resources.
