Darbe project aims to foster innovation and job market integration between Estonia and Latvia. The project addresses innovation challenges, particularly in digitalization and AI, to enhance business productivity and competitiveness. It tackles the innovation gap between Estonia and Latvia and aims to facilitate knowledge transfer and technology adoption. At the moment Mobi Lab is a successful IT development company with international clients, who want to improve their processes and externalise their knowledge on design processes and IT development. However, Visas Iespējas is providing Darbe web-browser solution, which speeds-up the recruitment process by arranging online matches and interviews between HR specialists and job candidates. The project focuses on developing two key innovations: a "Design driven development" (DDD) system for Mobi Lab to improve their design processes and the "Darbe" mobile app for Visas Iespējas, to improve their current Darbe solution. These innovations are expected to boost the partners' competitiveness and offer sustainable solutions beyond the project's scope. The project's main outputs are the DDD system and the Darbe mobile app. The direct beneficiaries are the SMEs involved, Mobi Lab in Estonia and Visas Iespējas in Latvia. Indirectly, the project benefits other companies and the general public in both countries. These outputs will be amplified by communication outputs - case study of design process, social media posts and infographics. The project adopts a cross-border collaboration approach, leveraging the strengths of each partner. Mobi Lab contributes its expertise in IT and UX/UI design, while Visas Iespējas brings insights from its Darbe platform. This synergy is expected to foster innovation and effective solution development. Cross-border cooperation is essential for knowledge sharing and market expansion. It enables Visas Iespējas to benefit from Mobi Lab's experience in international markets and innovative IT development. This collaboration also opens new opportunities for Mobi Lab in Latvia and contributes to regional development. The developed Darbe is a social business idea, which due to it's focus on remote work and remote interview process helps to reduce inequalities by helping people who require more flexibility - people from rural areas, youth and young mothers. It also is a green solution, as it significantly reduces in-person interview amount, which in turn reduces commuting. Long-term these solutions will be incorporated in the SMEs' processes, as well as will benefit the partners who work with Mobi Lab and clients (HR specialists and job candidates) who will use Darbe. After the end of the project partner's plan to continue collaboration among themselves as through consultancy and joint EU and other projects. As well, Darbe is planning to expand their offering to other countries, as well as develop closer collaborations with municipalities and universities, which can adopt this solution to help underpriveleged groups of job seekers.

Making Digital Tools Better Together: The Darbe Project Imagine two companies, one from Estonia (Mobi Lab) and one from Latvia (Visas Iespējas), working together to create something cool and useful. That's what the Darbe project was all about! Mobi Lab and Visas Iespējas teamed up to build two innovative digital tools, and by doing so, they also made both their businesses stronger. One important thing they created was the Darbe mobile app. This app helps people in Latvia find jobs in a new, easier way. It's designed to be simple to use and even has some fun, game-like features to keep users engaged. Think of it as a fresh, modern way to look for work right from your phone. At the same time, Mobi Lab developed its own special way of working called Design Driven Development (DDD). This is basically a smarter, faster system for designing and building apps and other digital products for their clients. They actually used the Darbe app as a testing ground for this new system, which helped them make it even better. The smart part was how these two companies helped each other: - Mobi Lab taught Visas Iespējas how to build great mobile apps, design user-friendly experiences, and get them ready for people to use. It was like an experienced coach showing a team the ropes. - Visas Iespējas gave Mobi Lab a real project (the Darbe app) inside a real product company to test out their new DDD system. This helped Mobi Lab fine-tune their new way of working and make sure it was truly useful for both agencies like Mobi Lab and product companies like Visas Iespējas. - Both companies learned a lot from each other, sharing ideas and finding new ways to improve what they do every day. In the end, the Darbe project wasn't just about finishing tasks; it built a strong friendship and partnership. These two companies plan to keep working together, making sure the new tools and knowledge they have gained will keep helping people and businesses long into the future.

Go remote: Unlocking the potential of remote job opportunities! (EN) | The Go Remote project has already demonstrated Visas Iespējas' expertise in youth employment and innovative job-matching solutions. Firstly, during Go Remote project Visas Iespējas team gained valuable experience in managing EU project with a total budget of 1.4 million successfully in the role of Lead Partner. Secondly, the project focused on facilitating online job speed-dating events and job-matching using a specialized algorithm at the start. During the project's third cycle Visas Iespējas substituted job speed-dating events with Darbe solution - therefore Visas Iespējas was able to provide this employment service for a much bigger audience in all partner countries than previously - more than 1000 young people were involved. The insights gained from this initiative and the development of the "Darbe" solution for an international audience serve as a valuable foundation for the current project. (EN), Social Entrepreneurship Grant "Job Tinder" (EN) | In 2023, Visas Iespējas launched the "Job Tinder" platform, aimed at the Latvian job market. This platform served as a precursor to Darbe's development. This platform introduced an innovative approach to job matching by showcasing the best matches between job candidates and companies, allowing them to interact and develop job relations. The success of this initiative, which received co-financing from Altum grant, exceeded initial expectations - Visas Iespējas was aiming for 500 youngsters participation, however, almost 900 participated in the first validation of the product. The experience gained and the innovative approach developed through "Job Tinder" directly contribute the Darbe project's objectives and strategies. (EN)
