- EC study regarding functional areas (EN) | According to an EC study on functional areas in February 2021, local government officials signed the document titled: “Agreement on the Creation of a Touristic Cross-Border Functional Area ‘Yotvingia - the Land of the Yotvingian Tribe’ on the Polish-Lithuanian border.” Thus, the creation of the Yotvingian Road will align with the objectives of the functional areas, enabling more active involvement in the shared intangible cultural heritage domain. (EN), Public Institucion Lazdijai Cultural centre project "Yotvingians road, I stage" (financed by Lithuanian Culture Council, 2021).
- (EN) | The Lazdijai Cultural Center, together with partners from four Alytus County municipalities, initiated the creation of the Yotvingian Road route. Educational programs and events were also developed. The existing experience aligns with the upcoming project and will have a positive impact on both the development of the established route in Lithuania and the creation of a joint Yotvingian Road route in the border region. (EN), Municipality of Punsk: "Preservation and promotion of the baltic tribes heritage in the Lithuanian - Polish borderland" NO. LT-PL-2S-138. (EN) | The Project through a joint action of Lithuanian and Polish partners in the framework of maintaining and developing borderland’s heritage of Baltic Tribes built the capacity and attracted and increased the number of tourists visiting cross-border area. Project developed an efficient framework for cross-border integration and cooperation between Polish and Lithuanian cultural institutions. Joined forces of borderland cultural actors have strengthened cultural cooperation, fostered regional development and contributed to social cohesion. The Partners have taken advantage of exchanging practices, methods and techniques in the interpretation, communication and dissemination of the Balts’ cultural heritage.

(EN), Municipality of Punsk:Lithuanian-Polish functional area - new tourism development possibilities"LT-PL-5R-350 " (EN) | As the partner Punsk municipality built the capacity to create functional area in the theme of Yotvingian Tribe". The project is one of the main documents related to Yotvingian identity at the Lithuanian-Polish border. So both partners has exeperience in this topic. (EN), Public Institucion Lazdijai Cultural centre project "The legends of Yotvingians (financed by Lithuanian Culture Council, 2023). (EN) | The event took place on the Mound of Rudamina. The mound was illuminated with Baltic symbols, creating a spectacle of light and magic. Approximately 3000 people attended this event, making it a unique occasion related to the Yotvingian Road. Thus, by aligning with existing knowledge and projects, the current and upcoming events planned in this project will be implemented. (EN)
