(EN), Project "Partnership for the promotion of cultural traditions among young people", MIS ETC Code 732, financed by the Joint Operational Programme Romania - Ukraine - Republic of Moldova 2007-2013 (EN) | The implementation of this project (Mugurelul Association Dorohoi – Applicant) is important in the design of the current funding request through the following aspects:
- - experience in creating the partnership and preparing the application by consulting the interested parties and the composition of the target groups, as well as establishing their role in the implementation of the project;
- - project implementation methodology, detection of potential risks and necessary countermeasures;
- - ways of disseminating information to local communities in the project area. (EN), "Cooperation for the promotion of traditional cultural activities in the cross-border area", 2SOFT/2.1/57, financed by the Joint Operational Programme Romania - Republic of Moldova 2014 - 2020 (EN) | The implementation of this project triggered the development of new levels of cooperation and innovative ideas, through the following actions:
- - improving the project preparation methodology for the development of the application, analysis of cross-border challenges and opportunities;
- - defining in partnership and with interest groups, the main objectives of the project, the expected results;
- - estimating the total budget of the project by checking the budget limitations for the call.
- The present project application addresses elements of intangible cultural heritage that have not been researched and exploited in previous projects, namely traditions and customs related to the life of cross-border communities, the customs of various events that take place throughout the year, folk crafts, sitters, exhibitions and performances, using modern means. Contribution to wider strategies and policies:
- EUStrategyDanubeRegion The EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) is a macro-regional strategy jointly developed by the countries of the Danube region, stakeholders and the European Commission. It is designed to address major common challenges. It aims to create synergies and coordinate existing policies and initiatives throughout the Danube region.
- The 2020 EUSDR Action Plan is the integrated response to these common challenges. It updates and focuses the actions of 2010, placing them in a strategic context.
- The project has a notable contribution to the measures of the "2020 Action Plan", namely:
- Cap. 1. Connecting the Danube Region
- *Promote culture and tourism, people-to-people contacts, through:
- - encouraging sustainable tourism and capitalize on EUSDR projects;
- - boosting cultural tourism and cultural heritage;
- - fostering skills, education and creating jobs;
- - promoting and encouraging the development of cultural activities and creative sectors.
- The measures in this chapter will be implemented by the project through:
- - the group of activities related to the capitalization of cultural identity and common history for the development of tourism in the cross-border area;
- -contribution to the perpetuation of authentic folk crafts, common cultural heritage, focal point for "sustainable tourism development", by organizing workshops with folk crafts with the participation of children and young people to acquire and perpetuation of these crafts;

- * Step up institutional capacity and cooperation, including, strengthening the involvement of civil society and local organizations in the region.
- Project actions: Consolidation of the cross-border dialogue through extended partnership to enhance the cultural heritage of the project area, the realization of a future strategy in the field.
- SeaBasinStrategyBlackSea The project chiefly contributes to the following:
- Goal II: A competitive, innovative and sustainable blue economy for the Black Sea
- Priority 1: Foster innovative business models, stimulate research and innovation, and sustainable growth and up-to-date jobs

- Priority 3: Promote blue skills and blue careers as an engine for innovation and competitiveness
- Action 5. Better policies and programs aligned with labor market needs and skills. Exchange of best practices and strengthened partnerships between national authorities, municipalities and local authorities, as well as between local authorities and employment/training agencies, to adapt national policies to local socio-economic conditions.
- Project actions:
- - exchange of experience and the training of folk craftsmen according to entrepreneurial principles in order to carry out their professional activity in conditions of efficiency, performance and competitiveness;
- - contribution to the perpetuation of authentic folk crafts, common cultural heritage, focal point for "sustainable tourism development", by organizing workshops with folk crafts with the participation of children and young people for the knowledge and perpetuation of these occupations.
- Other "Sustainable Development Agenda 2030", Republic of Moldova, was adopted in September 2000 by the United Nations and approved by the Council of the European Union in June 2021.
- Among the 17 sustainable development objectives to which the Agenda refers, applicable in the project are: "Partnerships for achieving the objectives" and "Decent work and economic growth".
- The concrete actions are: Consolidation of the cross-border dialogue through extended partnership for the enhancement of the cultural heritage in the project area, the realization of a future strategy in the field.
- Other The Development Strategy of Botoșani County 2021-2027
- The Strategic Objective 1 refers to the development of tourism as a stimulating factor for the economic development of Botoșani County. The directions of action provided in this strategic document are: "Development of innovative tourist products and packages" and "Increasing youth employment and promoting sustainable employment", knowledge of ancient crafts and customs.
- The project will contribute to the implementation of these directions of action by: organizing workshops with folk crafts in which children and young people can participate, promoting the knowledge and perpetuation of these crafts.
- Other The National Strategy of Regional Development of the Republic of Moldova 2021-2027
- For the scope of the project, the Specific Objective 2 of the strategy is relevant: "Ensuring sustainable economic growth in the regions, respectively, through the implementation of measures related to increasing tourist attractiveness, especially through the development of tourist activities and craft industries".
- The project will contribute to the implementation of this line of action by: Increasing the capacity to present and promote cultural diversity and to promote handicraft products in the local communities in the cross-border area of the project.
