- Think outside ... Stigma! Project implemented by Save the Children Iasi Branch aims to develop active measures for social inclusion and education of children with mental health disorder (ADHD, anxiety, autistic spectrum disorders) in Moldova region of Romania in order to increase the access to education and the level of their social acceptance.
- Thus, were developed and implemented 126 anti-stigma programs by 214 trained teachers from 107 schools in seven districts of Moldova. Through anti-stigma programs implementation were developed accepting differences skills among 4 303 children, 2 613 parents were informed about the peculiarities of the behavior of children with emotional and mental health disorders like ADHD, anxiety or autism and 2 548 teachers were informed of the acceptance of differences and integration of children who manifests disorders in the field of mental health. Also, 6 022 students participated in awareness activities regarding social and educational inclusion of children with mental health disorders; were conducted 3 regional consultations where 105 representatives of public institutions, NGOs and parents of children with mental health disorders were consulted and they contributed to elaborate a policy paper through which Save the Children Iasi supports expediting interventions in the field of child and adolescent mental health, more specifically, expediting procedures and actions for implementing the National Strategy for mental health of child and adolescent 2015 – 2020.

- This project responds to the Save the Children strategy for respecting children's rights to education and non-discrimination, through which a series of programs, projects and analyzes related to their respect were proposed and developed.Through these projects, the premises of this project were created, which is based on the experience gained in the implementation of innovative educational programs, working with teachers and institutions involved in education, but also with parents and the community in order to facilitate the integration of children with special educational requirements .The Think outside ... Stigma project! was in correlation with: Law no. 272/2004 on the protection and promotion of children's rights,National strategy for the protection and promotion of children's rights 2014-2020.In continuation of the steps in the best interest of the child, this project responds to these laws and strategies, to which it is supplemented National strategy for the protection and promotion of children's rights 2023-2027"Protected children, safe Romania" .

- promoting and respecting children's rights, as adopted by the previous strategy, which covered the period 2014-2020 adding new ones to them.The current Strategy aims both to align with the EU Strategy on the rights of the child,
- adopted in 2021, as well as with the other framework policy documents, adopted at the European and national level.The accumulated expertise, through the implementation of the Think outside project ... Stigma! creates the premise for the development of this project by replicating the following actions: Implementation of the anti-stigma program in schools; The training of teachers to implement programs and develop skills to accept differences both among children and adults
- (EN), "School YES!", with a total budget of 762,660 euros, project co-financed from the European Social Fund through the Human Capital Operational Program 2014 - 2020, Priority Axis 6 "Education and skills", Investment Priority 10 (i) "Reduction and prevention of dropout early school and promoting equal access to quality pre-school, primary and secondary education, including formal, non-formal and informal learning paths for reintegration into education and training", MySMIS project code: 104951. It took place between 22.05.2018 - 21.05 .2021.The purpose of the project: increasing access to education and social inclusion for 430 children, of which 105 are Roma and 60 from rural areas, by providing an integrated package of psycho-socio-educational services and developing professional skills among 240 staff didactic. Results:Preventing school dropout for preschoolers from vulnerable groups; Preventing school dropout for children from vulnerable groups, through the following types of specialized interventions offered: After school Program, "Second Chance" educational recovery program, School reintegration;The implementation of two social innovation programs: Mobile School and the first program in Iași County for psycho-socio-emotional preparation for the transition into a new education cycle;Development of the educational infrastructure for preschoolers and schoolchildren;Parental education programs based on positive discipline for 84 parents;Services for professionals in education and child protection. - Through the School Yes! project the premises of this new project were created, which is based on the experience gained in the implementation of innovative educational programs (psycho-socio-emotional training program for the transition to a new cycle of education, the Mobile School), work with the teaching staff and the institutions involved in education, but also with parents and community in order to facilitate the integration of children with special educational requirements
- (EN), The main objective of the cross-border project was to improve the child protection system in Iasi County (Romania) and in Cantemir and Leova counties (Republic of Moldova) by increasing the level of interaction and developing the network of professionals involved in child protection field. The aim of the project was to share and distribute good practices in the child protection system in the two countries: Romania and the Republic of Moldova by:creating a cross-border group of experts from the districts of Cantemir, Leova (Republic of Moldova) and Iasi county (Romania);creating maps of social services aimed at meeting the needs of families and children;developing the network of professionals involved in the field;the elaboration and distribution of 300 copies of the "Guide of good practices";
- creating of a cross-border team of trainers;created and developed a common training curriculum - 10 trainings in total for child protection professionals;providing the training for specialists - 200 professionals from both countries were trained;4 study visits for professionals were organized; 2 study visits for members of the child protection commission from the two countries: 1 visit to Iasi, Romania of the commissions from Leova and Cantemir counties, Republic of Moldova and 1 visit of the Child Protection Commission from Iasi to the Republic of Moldova.The target group were decision makers in the field of child protection: members of the commissions for the protection of children in need, specialists in the protection of children's rights, mayors, as well as professionals from education, police, health, as well as child protection practitioners: social workers, teachers, psychologists, doctors, etc.
- (EN) | There are clear synergies with global, European and national policies and strategies in the cross-border project. Global policies state that education should prevent and combat all forms of discrimination and racism, and equip children, young people and adults to interact positively with their peers from diverse backgrounds.
- There is a synergy in cross-border cooperation in inclusive education offering a holistic approach to addressing the diverse needs of students and schools and to create common solutions. By fostering collaboration, sharing resources, and promoting understanding, Save the Children and CCF Moldova project will contribute to creating more inclusive, supportive, and equitable educational environments.
