Description (EN):

The objective of the project is to increase the cooperation between the citizens of Săcueni and Létavértes through sport and events. People having different ages from both countries will be involved in project events and one joint Action Plan in cross border public policies in the field of heath and sport will be realised. The participants will come from Létavértes and Săcueni and localities surroundings, but due to the communication tools the project results will be known in a large area. The basic topic of the project is to mediate how to prevent diseases with the sport and healthy lifestyle. The problems that’s appear for the overweight people in time can be know and more than that it’s important that in the small communities, like Sacueni and Létavértes, programs connected with the topics like importance of sport or healthy foods to be realised. Our project offers an innovative approach in the field of healthy life and sport “promotion” due to our problem-solving solution is based in the following steps: 1. Sport and healthy day events where the participants from the two countries will receive information about the importance of healthy life through sport and a healthy diet. 2. Integrated research based on questionnaires, interviews, data analyse, and a new methodological tool named: “the participatory research action”. 3. Expertise events where workers in sport, representatives of local authorities, doctors, etc. from Romania and Hungary will take part and can exchange experiences. 4. Elaboration of Action Plan on Public Policy in the field of health and sport using the data collected in sport and healthy days, from the integrated research and information from the expertise events. Outputs: In the first project period totally 90 participants will participate at sport competitions in Létavértes and in the second project period totally 90 participants will take part at joint, cross border sport competitions. We plan to involve in project activities people coming from different age categories and in this way, we think that our project results will be known by other age categories. One Action Plan on Public Policy in the field of health and sport document will be realised in Hungarian and Romanian languages. The document first part will contain general information about the partners, presentation of the methodology and a general overview about the health system in the two partner locality. The second chapter of the Action Plan will offer concrete information about the general health status and the third one will describe the pubic policy recommendations. At the two expertise events totally 60 participants will take part, mayors from local authorities and representatives of local NGOs. It is expected that the number of institutions involved in joint cooperation to be 20. All these local authorities and NGOs will offer a valuable contribution for the public policies implementation. Our project basic innovative part is not only the methodological approach that we propose to use. We propose not only one innovative approach of one cross border public policy we plan to involve the citizens of the two localities in all project activities. Due to the promotion materials and joint community major events the project results will be used and known not only by the citizens of the two localities. In this way we consider that our project results can be know from a high number of citizens in Hajdú-Bihar and Bihor counties. In the two partner countries and in same time in the partners NGO’s localities the sport and healthy life topic are used in national mass-media and in same time the national institutions in charge with these public policies, but not concrete solutions are offered. In Hungary for example in each week the children between 6-14 years had weekly 2 sport hours, but in Romania the elementary school children had have only one hour of sport weekly. Regarding to the healthy foods we can enounce that in Hungary in all schools the children receive hot foods for lunch (soup and main course), but in Romania this lunch habit is in its infancy, and only a few schools can offer all these. The foods offered at school try to offer a healthy food for children, but the problems it that children are not familiarized with the healthy foods. Concluding we can state that our project propose an innovative approach through new cross border methods with the involvement of the two localities citizens and experts in sport, representatives of local authorities from the two country borders and families, parents, etc. The two major events Day of Healthy Life in Létavértes and Families Day in Săcueni will offer the opportunity to share the project all results with the citizens of project partners, to mediate the cross border projects and to offer information about sport and healthy life.

Actual Achievements (EN):

As part of the project, procurement activities have commenced. The procurement procedures related to the bus renting, events and marketing activities have been completed. The partners have also jointly initiated the implementation of the planned activities in cooperation with the cross-border partner. Furthermore, the Hungarian partner has prepared all necessary documentation for the Advance Payment Agreement and has submitted the completed documents to the relevant Hungarian authority.

The project took place in the end of July 2021. In Săcueni with 29 young people from Romania, Hungary and Norh-Macedonia.
The project was intended for the participants to get to know the situation of entrepreneurship in the field of sports, for the formation of skills regarding the realization of a business plan and implicitly the establishment of a start-up in the field, as well as other related skills (CV writing, design use of program), which can help young people (including NEETs) to break the deadlock.
(EN) | The topic of the project is not similar with the present project, but the partner gained experince in how to work in international cooperation and how to involve the stakeholders on association activities. In this way, the closed Eramus+ project can be consider as a solid experience for future cross border projects. (EN)

EUStrategyDanubeRegion With the elaboration of the Action Plan on Cross Border Public Policies in the field of sport and health our project are in line with EUSDR Priority Area 7 “To develop the Knowledge Society (research, education and ICT)” and partially fit with the EUSDR Priority Area 9 Contribution to a closer cooperation between educational, training, labour market and research institutions, in particular on transnational, regional and bilateral levels.
Other Our project health component are in direct connection with the Romanian and Hungarian Recovery and Resilience Facility Component C. In same time our project health part are in line with the Operational Program in Health in Romania.
Other Our project is in line with the Interreg VI-A Romania-Hungary Program Specific objective "RSO4.5. Ensuring equal access to health care and fostering resilience of health systems, including primary care, and promoting the transition from institutional to family- and community-based care+, not in direct way, but with the proposed activities we offer posibilities for prevention and in this way the number of sick people will decrease.
