Sole MED vise à créer un réseau de laboratoires ouverts dans la région euro-méditerranéenne afin de soutenir l'innovation, la croissance des entreprises et la formation des jeunes. Inspiré d'un projet réussi en Italie, il sera adapté à d'autres régions comme l'Espagne, la Grèce et la Bulgarie. Ces espaces collaboratifs aideront les nouvelles entreprises et les petites sociétés grâce à des formations, des outils numériques et des programmes scientifiques et technologiques. Un élément clé du projet est un laboratoire de création de startups axé sur la bioéconomie durable, offrant aux jeunes entrepreneurs une formation pratique en matière de développement commercial, d'innovation et de pratiques respectueuses de l'environnement.

Sole MED aims to create a network of Open Labs across the Euro-Mediterranean region to support innovation, business growth, and training for young people. Inspired by a successful project in Italy, it will be adapted to other areas like Spain, Greece, and Bulgaria. These collaborative spaces will help new businesses and small companies through training, digital tools, and science and technology programs. A key part of the project is a Startup Creation Lab focused on the sustainable bioeconomy, offering young entrepreneurs hands-on training in business development, innovation, and eco-friendly practices.

Expected Achievements (FR):

The SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE of WP1 is to develop a comprehensive database on active collaborative spaces and bio-economy start-ups across six MED countries. This objective includes conducting an in-depth baseline study on both ecosystems, providing detailed insights into the current state of open innovation labs and the start-up environment in the bio-economy sector. The gathered data will serve as a crucial foundation for the project’s outputs and results, offering valuable information to all targeted groups. By mapping and analyzing existing resources and gaps, WP1 aims to enhance the understanding of the regional innovation landscape, support strategic planning, and foster more effective collaboration and knowledge transfer within the MED area.
