Description (EN): CareWare Nordic 2 builds on the learning and results created in the CareWare Nordic 1 project. CWN1 now develops and operates a number of meeting places for municipalities, companies and educational institutions, as well as platforms for sharing the latest knowledge and experience in the field of welfare technology. The focus of CWN1 was on the companies and their product development, and to a lesser extent on the challenges and derived effects for the other regions and municipalities, employees in the healthcare system and citizens. The experience from the collaboration between the actors uncovered a number of obstacles in relation to succeeding with user-driven innovation and implementation of solutions. Firstly, it was a challenge to ensure user involvement in relation to the identification and further development of ideas and, secondly, there were still challenges in the cooperation between companies and the public sector regarding test courses even though the companies had used the project's platforms. CWN2 aims to support the innovation system through skills development and the development of collaborative platforms. The users of welfare technology must have knowledge about their opportunities and tools to be able to carry their ideas forward and focus on companies and regions/municipalities' cooperation in the development, testing and implementation of welfare technology through skills development and development of the project's platforms. The main target groups of the project are: - Health and care in regions and municipalities that work with or procure welfare technology solutions, including health and care personnel/clinicians. - Educational institutions within health and care, including teachers and students - Companies that develop welfare technology products and solutions. The secondary target group is: - Citizens/Patients All work packages involve the target groups directly via the project's platforms and planned activities, where the target groups will partly deliver knowledge into the project (e.g. needs and ideas for solutions) and partly receive knowledge via teaching/skills development through courses and platforms. The project contains 3 work packages with a number of activities focusing on innovation and skills development and will during the 3-year project period achieve the following results: - Testing and developing a model for communication and early detection of innovative ideas in healthcare, problem-capturing platform and maturation method that increases the number of successful innovation projects. - Implementation of idea development courses for 20 challenges identified in the healthcare system. - 30 competency courses with companies and 10 with staff in order to develop better innovation, test and product development courses in municipalities/regions. - 3-6 competency courses with new technologies for staff in cooperation with companies. - Through skills development and platforms, 30-35 companies learn about the regions' strengths, the challenges/needs of municipalities/regions and feedback on products. - Municipalities/regions will be presented with 30-35 new solutions and the opportunity to participate in their development. - 250-300 employees participate in competence development coupled with smart specialisation. - Development of teaching for students who match practice needs and equip them to apply technology. Businesses are involved in education. The project relies heavily on the learning that emerges in the implementation of the project activities, which will form the basis for the final models/methodologies, competency trajectories and platforms that the project will result in. Therefore, experience collection and evaluation are extremely important for the project. A large part of the project process will take place in an iterative process, where we continuously document learning and regularly evaluate on process and results. The project contributes to both the smart specialisation Halland 2021-2028 and the Danish Business Promotion 2020-2023 (Region Midtjylland), which in line with the project has a strong focus on Health Innovation, IT and AI as well as Digitalisation.

CWN1 udviklede og driver nu en række mødesteder for kommuner, virksomheder og uddannelsesinstitutioner samt platforme til deling af den nyeste viden og erfaring indenfor det velfærdsteknologiske område. Fokus i CWN1 var på virksomhederne og deres produktudvikling og i mindre grad på de udfordringer samt afledte effekter, der var for de andre regioner og kommuner, ansatte i sundhedsvæsenet og borgerne. Erfaringerne fra samarbejdet mellem aktørerne afdækkede en række benspænd i forhold til at lykkes med brugerdrevet innovation og implementering af løsninger. For det første var det en udfordring af sikre brugerinddragelse ift. afdækning og videreudvikling af ideer og for det andet var der stadig udfordringer i samarbejdet mellem virksomheder og det offentlige omkring testforløb selvom virksomhederne havde benyttet sig af projektets platforme. CWN2 avser at understøtte innovationssystemet gennem kompetenceudvikling og udvikling af samarbejdsplatforme. Brugerne af velfærdsteknologi skal have viden om deres muligheder og redskaber til at kunne bære deres ideer frem og der skal fokus på virksomhederne og regioner/kommuners samarbejde omkring udvikling, test og implementering af velfærdsteknologi gennem kompetenceudvikling og udvikling af projektets platforme. Projektets primære målgrupper er: - Sundhed og omsorg i regioner og kommuner, der arbejder med eller indkøber velfærdsteknologiske løsninger, herunder sundheds- og omsorgspersonale/klinikere. - Uddannelsesinstitutioner indenfor sundhed og omsorg, herunder undervisere og studerende - Virksomheder, der udvikler velfærdsteknologiske produkter og løsninger. Den sekundære målgruppe er: - Borgere/patienter Alle arbejdspakkerne inddrager målgrupperne direkte via projektets platforme og planlagte aktiviteter, hvor målgrupperne til dels skal levere viden ind i projektet (fx behov og ideer til løsninger) og til dels modtage viden via undervisning/kompetenceudvikling gennem forløb og platforme. Projektet indeholder 3 arbejdspakker med en række aktiviteter med fokus på innovation og kompetenceudvikling og vil i løbet af den 3-årige projektperiode opnå følgende resultater: - Test og udvikling af model for kommunikation og tidlig opsporing af innovative ideer i sundhedsvæsenet, problemopsamlingsplatform samt modningsmetode der øger antallet af succesfulde innovationsprojekter. - Gennemførsel af ideudviklingsforløb for 20 udfordringer identificeret i sundhedsvæsenet. - 30 kompetenceforløb med virksomheder og 10 med personale med henblik på at udvikle bedre innovations-, test- og produktudviklingsforløb i kommuner/regioner. - 3-6 kompetenceforløb med nye teknologier for personale i samarbejde med virksomheder. - Gennem kompetenceudvikling og platforme får 30-35 virksomheder kendskab til regionernes styrkepositioner, kommuner/regioners udfordringer/behov og feedback på produkter. - Kommuner/regioner bliver præsenteret for 30-35 nye løsninger og mulighed for at deltage i udvikling af disse. - 250-300 medarbejdere deltager i kompetenceudvikling koblet til smart specialisering. - Udvikling af undervisning for studerende der matcher praksis behov og ruster dem til at anvende teknologi. Virksomheder inddrages i undervisningen. Projektet beror i høj grad på den læring, der opstår i gennemførelsen af projektaktiviteterne, og som skal danne grundlag for de endelige modeller/metoder, kompetenceforløb og platforme, som projektet skal resultere i. Derfor er erfaringsopsamling og evaluering ekstremt vigtigt for projektet. En stor del af projektforløbet vil forløbe i en iterativ proces, hvor vi løbende dokumenterer læring og regelmæssigt evaluerer på proces og resultater. Projektet bidrager både til Smart specialisering Halland 2021-2028 og Danmarks Erhvervsfremme 2020-2023 (Region Midtjylland), der helt i tråd med projektet har en stor satsning på Sundhedsinnovation, IT og AI samt Digitalisering.
