Description (EN):

The main aim of the project is to achieve the development of cultural wealth and heritage through state-of-the-art methods of digitization of selected objects of cultural and historical significance. The main activity of the project will be 3D mapping, scanning and photogrammetry of selected buildings and territories for SK partners and UA partner. The activity will consist of 3D mapping of the interior and exterior and areas of cultural heritage. Digitization of objects will be carried out by photogrammetric method=scanning by means of robotized total station with laser scanner+photogrammetry by means of drone+delineation by GNSS rover. Scanning and photogrammetry will be focused on the following construction objects and territories: 1)Roman Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist,Sabinov, 2)Evangelical Church,Sabinov, 3)Historical centre of Sabinov, 4)Castle fortification, 5)Roman Catholic Church of the Virgin Mary Sabinov, 6)City Bell Tower Sabinov, 7)Uzhhorod Castle - UA. The following sub-objectives will be achieved through state-of-the-art digitization methods: -Creation of conditions for enabling complex digitization of the monument fund -Obtaining a range of information that has not been possible with the methods used so far, -Speeding up and streamlining fieldwork, -Data measurability, implementation in cartographic and geographic systems, -Simplification and accessibility of documentation for professional research, -Increasing general awareness of cultural heritage, making selected collected data available through electronic media. -Updating the communication tools of the Transcarpathian regional local history museum in the Uzhgorod Castle with information content based on 3D mapping products, oriented to EU customers. -2 Stakeholder networking events focused on implementation of digital promotion tools in the activities of the target institutions involved

Expected Achievements (EN):

The project overall objective is to preserve the cultural heritage of 7 objects of cultural and historical significance in SK and UA through digitalization, data archiving and thus increase protection at local and national level. The implementation of the project will enable the preservation of the values of the memory of the past, digital record for the future, and will provide the means for education, skills and informing society about the knowledge and value of cultural-historical objects.
