Description (EN):

The long term goal of the project is to influence as many citizens, public and private companies in the Oresund Region as possible to replace their petrol or diesel powered cars with electric vehicles. It will work towards the establishment of an infrastructure for electric vehicles that makes it possible for commuters to charge their electric vehicles on both sides of Oresund. There is yet no standard plug charging therefore an electronic map of charging points in the Oresund Region will also be developed within the project.

Achievements (EN):

The project have created an annual Oresund Elecrical Car Rally event, known as the first of its kind. In 2012, almost 50 electrical cars circled the Oresund in the two day event. The rally create networking possibilities between private and public stakeholders, as well as public information with familly friendly acitivites in all the cities along the route. Through a mapping of different regional private and public suppliers of charging stations, the project have taken the first step to avail a regional system for EV charing in the region. This will be followed up by a high profile political event.
