Description (EN):

Only few of the small and medium-sized businesses have used the possibilities of free movement across the internal borders, and in the region the situation has hardly improved ten years after the opening of the bridge. Therefore the project scrutinised the extent to which tax regulations and tax rules are experienced or thought of as being barriers when the businesses in question contemplate to start business activities across the border.

Achievements (EN):

During the first phase of the project, partners analyzed barriers and regulations that makes it difficult for SMEs to be active in both Sweden and Denmark. A couple of workshops were organized were problems and solutions could be discussed. The analysis resulted in a report that points out proposals for further action, to improve the handeling and cooperation between the two countries' tax authorities.
