Description (EN):

The LOWCAP cluster will develop a process for the exchange of knowledge and experiences in carbon reduction and energy efficiency projects in the NSR. This process brings together key results & identifies the synergies between the partner projects & related NSRP projects. The findings will be consolidated & discussed with other stakeholders in the NSR drawn from decision makers & implementers in the public sector and end users from business and communities. In combination with a review of EU programmes and the most recent literature, LOWCAP will produce and disseminate policy advice.

Achievements (EN):

The LOWCAP cluster developed a process for the exchange of knowledge and experiences in carbon reduction and energy efficiency projects in the North Sea Region. This process brought together key results and identified the synergies between the partner projects and related North Sea Region Programme projects. The findings were consolidated and discussed with other stakeholders in the North Sea Region drawn from decision makers and implementers in the public sector and end users from business and communities. • Raise awareness through the creation of a stakeholder network in the NSR for exchange and learning on carbon reduction and energy efficiency. • Identify/quantify innovative high impact projects in the NSRP. • Convince decision makers at local, regional and EU levels to make use of LOWCAP policy advice.
