Description (EN): The overall objective of the project is the development of the cooperation between local governments of Kętrzyn Community (Poland) and Ozyorsk District (Kaliningrad region of Russia) focused on health improvement of the citizens of both project areas.

Achievements (EN):

International seminar and opening conference organized Study visit to Ketrzyn and Olsztyn organized Information campaign conducted Training for higher medical qualification organized Medical examination and rehabilitation treatments of women/men organazied Rural medical centres and nurses' offices renovated and equiped Medical equipment purchased Summation meeting organized World Cancer Day 2015 Actions in Kętrzyn and Oziersk organized Painting contests in Oziersk and Ketrzyn organized Project promotional company conducted

Expected Results (EN):

1. Prevention campaigns and health education aimed at the improvement of health. 2. Increase in the number of medically examined persons. 3. Renovation of Community Medical Point in Parcz and School Nurse's Cabinet in Biedaszki as well as purchasing of additional equipment for doctors’ offices and school nurses’ station in Kętrzyn and hospital in Ozyorsk.
